Hey Blizz, time to improve the auction house netcode. In the evening the AH just stops functioning, trying to sell something? Internal Auction Error 4-5 times before it posts. trying to buy something ? Internal Auction Error 4-5 times, now the items you wanted to buy are gone cause somebody else bought it. Is it even possible to improve the auction house without having to overhaul it entirely ? No idea, but atm it’s pretty sh*t. Also the old ah is really poop, the sorting is all messed up, you have to rummage through N pages until you get to the auction with the lowest price (that’s if you don’t use auctionator or tsm, which half of the time don’t even work because of the Internal Auction Error) .

Some addons can cause this too.
On busy realms while your addon is re-searching when you buy, someone else has bought the item. I find it best to go further down the list.
It happens when I also post stuff on ah, not just when buying, and since the classic ah interface sucks(can’t post multiple stacks at once) I have to use an addon, and it takes sometimes like 4-5 tries before it actually posts something, the AH is just slow as hell in the evening and would be nice if they could improve it somehow. Also to people who keep saying the item has been already sold, no, the error you get when trying to buy an item that’s already sold is “Can’t find that item” not “Internal Auction Error”, sometimes I would get Internal Auction Error 4-5 times and then it would buy the items.

Logged in now in the morning to buy some stuff, bought like 30 stacks of Frostweave, 0 Internal Auction Errors, so no it’s not because of some addon, the AH just gets slow in the evening when there’s a bajilion people buying and selling stuff cause the code for it is ancient and can be improved.
