Hi it’s taking days for downloading the new patch due to my internet speed which is very bad , could I go to my friends pc and copy files on a usb drive and paste them into my wow folder on my pc ?? Is this possible as my pc is too big too move and I’ve been unable to get my pc to download the patch I can’t think of any other way It’s so frustrating

Yes, you can copy the game install folder and then run it from your computer. Be sure to let the Blizzard App know where you game installation folder is then (Options > Game Settings > Game Install/Update) and be sure the correct folder is selected. If it isn’t, click on the button Use a Different Folder.
You will also want to make sure the folder’s properties aren’t set to read-only.

So here’s an interesting thing my old Mac has just updated wow perfectly and quick - but my pc can’t ? It’s still stuck on the manifest thing so it’s not my internet it’s something else , what folders can I copy from my Mac onto my windows pc ? Or can’t that be done ? My pc just wont update and I’ve tried everything that people have suggested .
Lots of people are having that issue with getting stuck on the “downloading patch manifest” stage, myself included. No fixes yet, people have tried reinstalling and still have the same issue. Just endlessly downloads nothing or something, probably the patch manifest repeatedly forever.
