Interrupts in mythic plus

Hey , so am gonna jump right into it. With how important kicking is in mythic plus and its what most of the time is the difference between a successful run and a wipe fest i just wanted to suggest 2 changes that i think will keep the challenge level up and at the same time improve the experience of many many players;
1- make interrupts not go on cd if the cast has already been interrupted, something like cleanse where if u cast it with nothing to cleanse you just wasted a gcd and not go into 15s cd for your. kick.
2- please make some of those 0.00001 second casts in. Certain dungeons longer. As alot of times am casting something or am in middle of a gcd and cant kick in time especially for huge packs of mobs.

Somewhat agree here, especially with how mobs will keep trying a cast until it gets actually interrupted. Elemental shaman knocks mob down with random Earthquake tick, you waste your interrupt, mob tries to cast again because it wasn’t interrupted, just CCd out of the cast.

But this, I don’t follow. Interrupts aren’t on GCD. Only :flying_disc: is, and you don’t seem to be playing prot, and even if you were, I don’t think anyone is going to argue prot needs an easier time kicking.

This will 100% lower the challenge level. Might as well give mana refund if you over heal, or reset major cooldowns if you didn’t manage to do your expected damage.

It always have been a negative for casters to stop/interrupt their cast in order to interrupt. Melee doesn’t have that. (except windwalker, of course).

Interrupt your spell if needed and kick the cast. Enemy spell casts are typically 1.5s or more, idk where the idea they’re unkickably short is coming from.

No, however I do think there is one small adjustment they could make along the lines of this.

If you kick a spell that has been stopped by a non interrupt stop (Such as ele shaman earthquake, some kind of knockup etc) then there should be a period of leeway in which that interrupt still puts the enemy spell on cooldown.

i dont know for me it seems like i never get to kick those 0.5 sec casts in time no matter what XD

It cancels casts on casters though, which can be really annoying if you’re halfway through a cast.
