Intimidation Shout not breaking

The warrior fear never breaks from damage. I distinctly remember it used to break from any damage, wether direct, aoe or a dot tick, but right now nothing breaks it. On my paladin I sat a full intimidation shout while a rogue was meleeing me and I had sacrifice on a druid with dots on him.

Most fears have a chance to break on damage same as nova unfortunately sometimes it does last the full duration when your getting attacked I’m in work the now so I can’t test it find a warrior to duel and try it a few times see if it never breaks

The only target it breaks immediately on damage is the person that was targeted by the warrior. Everyone else affected follows the usual rules of fear.

I tested this for you. First attempt it broke on 1 swing with a 2hander for 361 damage. It’s working correctly.

it have chance to break on hit, but to my best knowlege each consequential hit does not increase this chance, that was implemented in wotlk. So in lucky or unlucky hit streak (depend fore who) its possible that fear will breake on first hit or last full duration while taking damage

damn, when i was playing warrior it always break on first dmg.

So I am aware that it has a chance to break and I may have formulated it in a way that eluded that. However, Intimidation Shout as far as I’m aware, used to be that it was guaranteed to break on any damage. I could not fear people with dots because the dots would instantly break it etc. Obviously I am aware what time can do to ones memory, but I was confident this is how it behaved for a very long time.
