I’ve been wanting to go back and do some lower level content, but a bunch of NPCs are just gone or invisible. I can’t start my hunter class hall quest for example. I can hear the NPC greeting me, but she’s invisible and untargetable. When I travel to the hunter’s lodge, I can’t interact with anything.
Similarly, there is nobody for me to speak to to start the Shadowlands quests, no active portals, and no flight master to take me anywhere. So many of the NPCs are just gone.
I’ve tried relogging, restarting the game, and restarting my computer, but nothing helps. Are these expansions just gone for this character since I didn’t start them before level 70?
Phasing made a mess of Dalaran during the pre-patch. But it should be over now. Do you have any quests left over from that time maybe? from the Harbinger questline and the Events?
I had the quest to go to Silithus still in my log, which I skipped since you can just take the portal to Dornogal. Talked to Thrall to skip ahead in the campaign, and it seems to have fixed Dalaran for me, but Oribos is still a mess.
I got a Remix character to Oribos. I don’t remember how, exactly, so it must not have been hard.
As Alliance, have you checked the steps of Stormwind Castle for the starter quest? Make sure you have Low-Level quests and Warband-Completed quests ticked in your map filter, just above your minimap.
