What we offer - Iron Edge is an international guild that’s been steadily raiding since Vanilla. We are a persistent and dedicated group of players who put a heavy focus on maintaining a healthy community. We are constructed towards the long-term perspective, with emphasis on taking care of our members and providing a healthy social atmosphere throughout our experiences in World of Warcraft. That has been the reason for our rich history of success, and will continue to be so in the future.
What we seek Good communication is the most important aspect of working in a team, so we put a heavy focus on it. We require all our members to be well-spoken and articulate in the English language. We do not engage in any sort of language policing of any kind, so we expect you to be a mature player that can deal with mean words on the internet.
Dedication to raiding and the ability to perform at the best of your capability are attributes we want to see in our applicants. Despite our relatively open attitude towards the game in general, we are all driven by the same urge to always push ourselves to perform and achieve our goals. We do recruit social members just for the odd alt run, Mythic+ or PvP. All we require of a social applicant is a good application and that you seem like a nice addition to our community.
Our teams - We currently have a cutting edge mythic raiding team, a weekend raiding team and a team for grumpy old men who can’t stop talking about how much better things were in TBC. You can apply to each of them through our website.
The Iron Edge Main Raid: Two days per week Monday and Thursday 20:00 - 24:00 server time (invites at 19:40) Contact: Rash (Raid leader), Shimmar (Melee DPS), Mooneclipse (Ranged DPS), or Spetsnaz (Healer).
Historic Progress: We’ve been getting CE on almost every raid tier since Mists of Pandaria, and cleared heroic 25-man raids before CE and Mythic difficulty were introduced. This raid group started in the beginning of WotLK and was based on players that wanted to see the content and try the bosses but were not ready to schedule 4 nights a week for a game. Many of our members are former hardcore raiders, that now have families and/or busy jobs.
The Weekend Raid: Sunday 18:30 - 22:30 server time Contact: Rasgaas
The Moldy cheese raid is our casual raiding team. They focus on mythic progression on a once-a-week raiding schedule (Nerub-ar 4/8M, Amirdrassil 4/8M). For more information contact Rasgaas or visit our website.
The ToT-Raid: Wednesdays 20:30 - 23:30 server time Contact: Kodin
Too Old To Raid is an ultra casual group of former hardcore raiders that are now too old for raiding multiple nights/week. They have a relaxed attitude and value having fun during raids, while successfully clearing heroic content. Contact Kodin or apply on our website if you’d like to become one of them!
