When using the Iron Skyreaver mount in sky-riding-mode, the fire particle effects of the engines are not working. The textures of the engines though, are changing to their “on-state”, which is basically just a orange-ish glow of the inner texture of the engines.
But that’s it, no fire effect.
When launching from the ground, for a brief second, there are some flames coming from the engines. But it seems they are just emitting for the duration of the “take-off-animation” and then they disappear again.
When travelling in normal-flight-mode, everything works still fine.
By now I wrote several bug reports about this, but they seem to be ignored.
First bug report I sent, was already on the first day sky-riding was made available for all the non-dragonflight flying mounts.
So… some time has passed now and I don’t know what else to do. This is one of my favourite mounts, but since this is kinda broken, I don’t like to use it anymore.
Which is a shame, since this is (was) still a shop mount, so I even more don’t understand why it takes more than four month to “not” fix such a simple thing.
This is basically just:
- Open “Iron Skyreaver” model
- Go to the “fly-animation”
- Add left and right the already existing particle effect
- Press save
- Upload to next build
- Done
Should be less than 2 minutes of work.
But great: “We’re glad you payed 20€ for one of our shop mounts, which doesn’t work properly. Please stay tuned for our next super deals. See you later fellow adventurer.”
