can someone explain why there is 2x 0cr on my demo lobby, i won 4-2 but still asking cos this is rated mode and the matchmaking seems like joke often
you are within the CR where peoples mmr initially starts out. Call it “placement games” if you wish n depending on how they do they´ll go up or down the following game. The makingmaking system isnt gonna wait to try n pinpoint exactly 1500 rating but rather it´ll make it as close as possible with the ques that are available at the time. CR doesnt matter anyways its just about the MMR which is unaffected.
i stopped queing after that one, like once hit 2.1 first time with 60% win 90 played and then matching started throw me to average 1800mmr lobbys with my own 2.2kmmr, and this was after waiting 40min for each and i get system to wreck my mmr
ill wait friend to get unbanned and we will play 2s instead this clown mode, he got banned cause of shuffle ironically

I’d assume that they were probably like 2k1 rating on one of their other specs.
When I did my first game as enha on my alt, I got put in a 2k1 lobby at 0 cr because I was 2k8+ on ele.
yeah, friend reply to me on discord just that they likely have other on 2k something so the system throws them bit higher than 1.5
idk rly i dont like this mode either for dps or heal i want go back playing 2s
i dont have patience to wait 30-60min ques or to heal random people do random things 
Ye it defo works like that. When I lvl’d a completely fresh char the other week, I started out ~1500 lobby, as it should be.
On this char I’m posting with, I also got put in a 1900 lobby on my 1. enha game because I was 2k4 on ele.
And yes, queues are really brutal rn, seems to have gotten worse for dps rather than better. My average wait time currently is about 35 minutes, I almost never get a fast one and often times I’m sitting up to 45-50 minutes…
yeah i didnt think of that, was confused see 2 people as 0cr on 1700mmr and wondered if theyre 1500 for placement and hence affect my gains/loses negatively even for going even but i went 4-2 so stayed positive tho my mood went negative after the lobby and playing demo again

Ye I mean at the end of the day, the enemies cr is completely meaningless. When it comes to rating calculations, all that matters is their MMR.
If you win 2 rounds against a 1700cr/2600 MMR guy, you will gain more points than winning 2 rounds vs a 2400cr/2500 MMR guy and the average lobby MMR in your screenshot makes perfect sense.

Yesterday got put into a shuffle at 2200mmr with a healer with zero CR, zero games played, after waiting 45 minutes.
The rest of us were all same CR-MMR.
I think he inspected us and saw what mess he got into, and immediately left while in the starting lobby, before the first game.
We all wasted 45 minutes for nothing, and had to wait again for the next queue.

you dont randomly get put in 1800mmr lobbies if you dont lose a few games before.
And why are you not carrying in these 1800mmr lobbies and get back to 2100 easily?
I also almost never wait 40 mins and thats on 3k+ so i doubt you wait that long every game at 1750. Sure sometimes ques are 30+ but thats not every game.
i did not and i were exactly put into random 1800mmr average lobbys for 5 ques row to be exact after waiting 40min for each of the ques
i had 2.2kmmr and i were going positive on those lobbys and gaining 0 rating for it so i went from 90 played to 120 played and stayed on the exact same rating of 2.1 and i quit my lock there for months
the shuffle system is shaite and i stopped care about it long time ago when realised its flaws, the random mmr on matchmakings is just icing on the cake
only reason i would play it now is to cap vault for sockets or gear alts for conq but other than that i dont care about shuffles im going back to 2s
i wait 30-40min for each que on dps even when the average reads 10mins and i have entire bnet and discord to back this up with friends sharing similar
what is even the purpose of this contradiction of what ive said, are we going back to the part where you call me “the worst player on this forum” when ur defending someone who bought 2x r1 to boost him in shadowlands for his gladiator achis
