Hello, I quit wow a few years ago, but I’ve played a lot the bracket mentioned for 2 or 3 expansions and now that I’m back I was wondering how long are the battleground q’s. Also, is there any servers with twink community or are they split?
In case it doesn’t exist anymore, any other twinking bracket remains active? Ty.
Twinks only get matched with other people that have XP off.
It still exists. There are several communities for 20-29 twinking (Aswell as other twink communities), though they’ve been kinda dwindling recently-ish. There’s been a lot of changes so far, in BFA in regards to twinking in general. But if you want more info/answers on this, then check out xpoff . com (without spaces).

Twinking goes to classic, obviously, for a normal treatment.

In vanilla, which brackets were the important ones? I’ve heard a lot about 39s.
19 & 29 were the most popular.
20-29 in retail works under certain circumstances. If you have a free to play account limited to level 20, you get queued with normal players. But you have all the limitations of a free to play account (warlocks can’t even trade you health stones and there’s no well at that level). So if you want to 20-29 twink you can just create a new wow account inside your blizzard account and play with a free to play account.
Getting there is a lot of effort though. Farming good gear and enchanting it without using the auction house. Basically, I did it like that looong time ago:
Well, I’ve played that bracket for several years, both with F2P or Veteran accounts and you don’t need that much grind. Doesn’t really matter how power geared you are, 29s will still destroy you in a 1v1 anyways.
I never had full BiS on my Vet (did on my starter but requisits are way lower) and still managed to perform better than most 20s, as I said 29s are another story.
Not anymore. Your level is scaled in a battleground nowadays. 29s have a couple of abilities more than 20s but the fight has never been that doable as today. The moment you join a BG on your f2p 20, your level is 29 automatically.
Especially if you’re a warrior. Lol.
Also, 29 twinkling isn’t really possible anymore because 29 twinks would get separate BGs while f2p 20s get into the normal queue.
