Is 8.3 the best patch ever made?

-With visions we finally have challenging and rewarding solo content, which is unprecedented
-The corruption effects make gearing more interesting and exhilarating when it drops than boring titanforging
-The intro quest line was very immersive and nobody expected the whole expansion was leading up to N’zoth
-The raid boss mechanics are unique and fun, especially the soccer ball in Xanesh encounter
-The dailies finally get us out into the world again and lots of world pvp going on
-We can play as cute foxes

I don’t understand why so many people are complaining.

Cuz its crap for alts

But then again i started benching mine, the reason i play every class is to provide my friends & team best utillities

… Doesn’t help when i can’t even reach heroic ilevel on everyone each season …Gearing is endless :joy: so for now, i like this :ok_hand:

You can keep up, you just can’t expect to keep up with mythic raiders just by doing one +10 per week on each alt. I think it’s genius how Blizzard has offered more reward for effort this patch. They’ve got some smart people in charge, that’s for sure.

I hate 8.3 reput , i want to grind at my pace, i dont want to wait 3 month before get Botd 3 for every of my toon .

And i also hate Ny’alota ending, but who dont

Its good but N’Zoth fail was a big NOno

I forgot another point
-They are experimenting with and adding Golden Sun style puzzle mechanics to the game

I don’t think we’ve ever seen a patch before with this much innovation and new stuff.

We have plenty of time to do everything on alts though as the last patch was scrapped!

True, but the main reason i play alts is for varity & to be more useful to my friends

Not gonna be that when i can’t catch up on the cloak on even 4 while my friends are asking me to do 7-8 lvls cx

  • Visions are good but limiting them is bad
-Corrupted gear is the worst rng system added to this game. Some of the gear does like %10-20 dps increase and rng corruption and dps values on top of that. You roll the dice like 5 times for a single gear.
-Everyone knew we were fighting nzoth since prepatch.
-Raid mechanics are really bad only 1-2 boss has fun mechanic.
  • Everyone is ignoring those dailies because they are boring
  • I’m not interested in furries

Hardly unprecedented, Mage Tower was a superior form of solo content with a prestigious award and could be done with all specs. Visions are not really soloable as tanks or healers, and the rewards are hardly special.

Sure its interesting, but it screws you over just as hard if you’re a poor unlucky sod who doesn’t get one of the three top simming effects. They’re both awful.

Practically everyone knew the expansion was leading up to N’zoth when we knew Azshara was involved in the Stormsong questline. Nobody thought this would be a genuine, full on faction war expansion.
It would’ve been better if they had fully committed to that vision, but instead we get both the faction war and old gods compromised completely.

Agreed, but raids have never been a problem in WoW. They’re always good or great.

I jumped off WM a while back, so I’ve little idea of how WPVP is right now, but the dailies are the most obvious case of deliberate time wasting I’ve ever seen this entire expansion. The zones are designed to make you spend as much time as possible searching for your objectives so you play longer. No actual engaging activities to speak of.

Horde can, but I still want to play as cute snekmen. Nobody on Ally wanted Mechagnomes.

Pfeh friends are overrated!

Friends are just fiends with an extra R.

Not on the same level as mage tower and extremly gated. Personal opinion but i find them boring.

Gearing is a nightmare atm because of busted corruption affixes and alot more RNG than titanforging.

Most people expected it to be N’zoth. Quest line was fine i guess but nothing spectacular or particularly interesting…

Some are and some bosses feel like they are just there to get the boss numbers up to 12. And the final N’zoth fight is really boring and disapointing (bonus points for the horrible ending). But the raid is overall good so ill give you that.

Nothing new they will become irrelevant in a few weeks like the daillies in Nazjathar and WQs.

Not interested in fox peopel and paraplegix gnomes.

Bonus round:
-8.3 is even more alt unfreindly than 8.2 was
-The new essenses are even more time gated than the olds ones. Example for BotD you need 3 weeks to get the rank 2 and then grind to exalted for rank 3.
-More pointless reputations. The vendors dont sell anything interesting so they (again) slaped the rank 3’s of the essenses behind the rep wall so we have a reason to do them. And its painfull and slow grinf on top 125 rep (75 pre buff) per guest for 3-4 daillies and 50 per “world quest”
-Uninspired looking gear (again) subjective but still. And not even an open world set, they just give us the LFR recolor.
-Too many curencies. Get thing to buy a thing to go do a thing to upgrade your thing also there these other things that upgrade your thing so you can do the thing to upgrade your thing faster.

No its not the best , and in my opinion its not even good

PS On a possitive note i love that they are using old world zones but thats it.

I got my fox.
I’m pretty happy with the patch for that reason alone.

Not tried the content yet though and doubt I will play it daily.
Probably just here and there for gear or something.
Doesn’t seem my thing.

BfA 8.3, the best patch ever that gave me the best PvP toy ever “N’lyeth, Sliver of N’Zoth”.

Decent patch. Some new systems, nice raid, new races and new activities. Approve.

Also some items are awesome, wings trinket, Raden trinkets, Mechagon rings into play… , and the whole gearing thing looks rather well implemented.

But no new instances makes me sad.

Best patch ever made? Not by a long shot. But it’s decent!

It’s ok, I like the raid and I like the visions. I think the questing in vale and uldum piling on top of the already 2 hours worth of existing world quests is a little much though.

Corruption is good, but it’s very simlar to legion legendaries in the sense that you either get lucky or you don’t, however I think in the end it will all work out once you have a plethora of corruption items to choose from.
