If they did a rollback the amount of cluster that they would get would be record breaking.
And no, they wont change anything. They have like 2 intern devs and a dollar store budget for SoD, they are not invested enough to adjust and change stuff on time.
Haha, yeah, as happy as putting salt into an open wound.
The only thing a rollback does is punish the 90% of the people who went dungeon farming or normal quests. Most of the people were not in the Nightmares since it was not a safe bet like dungeons were.
Imagine realizing you’ve lost to gain hundreds of gold just because you didn’t play at the right time. Absolutely pathetic from Blizzards side, but now I at very least won’t have any trouble to level my profession, oh wait, I probably will due to the resulting inflation.
I wrote this in another post about it, but I don’t care how many times I write this… I find it shocking.
So you are telling me that by sheer chance, those that made it online with the server issues, and those that went straight to the incursions, got lucky with nearly 1000g??
I spent 2 phases, slowly earning that kind of money, and it was just given away to people that quickly and that easily?
I know nothing will be done about it and if it was “FIXED” that good news, but it just leaves this sour taste in my mouth that I spent nearly 3 months making that kind of money and some people got it by doing practically nothing…
i don’t think so but it might look like it cause the 20% being able to play and exploit this will be whining as much as they are 80% of the playerbase.
problem is - the longer they wait the bigger the damage is. they should have rollbacked within the first 3 hours. so hurry up blizz. do something before it is too late - please
figure out who made the most gold from the 5g quest reward, establish this as the cap.
the quests will return 5g up until this cap, then it reverts to the current nerfed value.
Prob possible to get 1k, but like… MAX. Which is not what most of the ones there did. But it was still high.
This is why the saying of “Exploit early, exploit often” is a thing in WoW. Now, this was not an exploit, the gold given per quest was just set to too high. Overall ppl did get a lot, but not many. And in comparison to what bots are making and selling each and every day ? This is a drop in the bucket. You wont even notice it, nor will the server economy.
Edit: Guys lol… rollback asking is delusional xD Or them investigating. Its as realistic as Santa. The SoD budget is a joke.
Its already too late past the 1hour mark. Even 3 is too much. Either way, no rollbacks will ever happen for anything. During S1 TBC classic people were able to buy the S2 pvp ring. Did blizzard ever remove it from the ppl that got it? Nope.
Just keep playing, chill out and save yourself some nerves. I only made 100g before I had to log off and I dont even care ppl made 500+. The ones that did are no more than 15-20% of the playerbase. Its not like incursions wont be farmed hard for exalted rep, which will still be a very solid g/ph at lvl 50.
