According to patch notes, “Meticulous Experimentation” guarantees a new recipe. I just did one and it did NOT grant a new recipe even though I have many unlearned recipes.
I also did over 100 “Wild Experimentation” and it didn’t grant a single recipe. Something is not working as intended.
