Is anyone excited about 9.1 anymore?

9.1 dosnt fix anything…so no…it dosnt matter

Yes.
Excited noises

im exited for 9.1 but even more for 9.2 and tier sets coming back along with other very good decisions for the future of wow.

Not really, got distracted by classic while waiting and im so uninvested at this point. Blizz doesnt care which version I play though, they still get my money.

Nope, there’s not much to it. Especially when thinking how long it takes to get it out.
It won’t deliver the improvements that I want/need nor will the content be enough for the wait we had to endure.

This is the messed up part - 9.1 is pretty much the patch following the standard format (e.g. adding the mega dungeon, new raid, zone etc) and yet its taking so long as if its a new concept. Nobody can be excited for that. Maybe its just me but I would be prepared to wait twice as long if the patch promises to completely overhaul some aspect of the game in a more player friendly manner.

  • (-) Korthia / Maw 2.0: lmao nope
  • (-) Story: I’d rather be forced to watch Star Wars Episode 1
  • (-) PvP changes: some nice changes, but the core problems of ilvl being way more important than skill and late-season alts getting 1-shotted still aren’t being addressed
  • (-/+) Thorghast: maybe it’ll be fun for a couple of runs, but then it will just turn into a weekly legendary grinding chore
  • (-/+) New dungeon: I love dungeons, but it’s absolutely stupid that Blizzard isn’t including it in M+ or at least making the gear upgradable. People will run this new dungeon once and then not bother with it again until 9.2
  • (-/+) M+ rating system: good idea to integrate this into the game, but it’s much too basic and won’t replace RIO
  • (+) M+ season 2 affix: looks pretty good!
  • (+) New raid: Yay, looking forward to raiding again!

I think I’ll play the 9.1 raid, clear it on heroic, and then peace out. Most of the stuff in WoW is just bad; raids are the only really good part of the game. M+ also rocks, but Blizz isn’t doing enough with it. That new recolored mount for KSM? You trolling, Blizz?

Never had been excited to still be excited.

Still got loads of stuff to do ingame patch just means i get to much going on so i am not excited, blizz did put so much stuff for collectors this patch so i hope they better chill with the patch.

It’ll be decent enough, keep the world ticking over with the Euros on going and New World in 2 months.

Excited? No. Looking forward to? Yes.

9.1 presents me with the opportunity to retry the mistakes of my 9.0 approach where I was so lacking in focus I’m scrambling to get some measure of progress done before the end of patch. It gives me an opportunity to try and ride M+ when people are actually bothered to do it etc. That’s the biggest draw for me, it’s a clean slate, so so long as I get to the ilevel needed to start m+2 reasonably well, I’ll be good.

Also looking forward to flying. Screw you Revendreth!

Not at all…

OK bye then

Same here - I aimed to get the +10 achievement this patch, and start pushing for KSM in 9.1, due to work and other things it never happened.
On topic, I’m kinda looking forward to 9.1 if only for flying and a bit extra for the covenant campaign. Torghast and the maw I will still avoid unless I HAVE to do it.

From what I’ve heard, Korthia isn’t required if you tend to gear up from raids, dungeons, or PvP.

Maybe.

Fingers crossed.

(I do think there absolutely should be a gearing route for casual solo play, I’m just not convinced that Blizzard are wise enough to have implemented one. Untangling Valor from KSM would have done exactly as good a job.)

Everyone thinks it’s the next coming of Christ . It you don’t raid , don’t key push , don’t like Torghast. People are going to get bored very fast. The " world " content is 3 weeks of content , time gated and that’s about it. That’s the reality of it. All the cool new stuff is instanced.

The longer this patch drags on, the less excited I am about the next patch. I think I’m still going to play it regardless out of respect from my guild and guildies. But, if that patch is anything like this one was by the end of it, I’m not so sure I will want to continue with wow.

To be honest, I’m seriously considering going back to league and it’s kind of depressing to think I’d have more fun playing that toxic waste of baby diapers game than go through another 8 month content drought patch in wow.

Nope, im making moves to go over to final fantasy, just running my game time down
Got sick of shadowlands real fast, faster than the time gated content. i have played this game since vanilla and i have done long spells away from the game many times, but always with the intention of coming back at some point. now i dont

It is a lick of paint over a decomposing turd. The sad thing is the turd is not just shadowlands in general it is the actual state of retail wow.

9.1 looks to be another zone tacked on, another raid and then a slightly different iteration of a previous system tacked on and then finally some odd attempts to fix some of their mistakes in the maw and torghast.

So no. The one thing this has taught me is never buy a 6 month sub. Also means i will probably never buy an expansion at launch until i see what it delivers in terms of player experience.

Im not playing ffxiv or any other mmo currently. Ive an eye on new world just as the actual game world looks outstanding so we will see.

Edit: Im sure Ill get flamed but i do not see how anyone can be happy with the current state of WoW and the direction this set of developers are taking this beloved game. Im pretty sad.

I am really looking forward to new content, and we get flying, the game always improves 200% for me when I can fly.

I’ve still got so much to do in TBCC atm so I’m quite happy to wait though.
