As title says, is this april fools thing only related to patch notes or this is the stuff they implemented in the game as well for a day? In other games like minecraft they actually release snapshots featuring 1st april stuff, not sure about wow, but I saw funny patch notes of this year, it gave me quite a laughter
Only patch notes.
Patching a game means you run the risk of breaking something.
No one, least of all Blizzard, thinks bugs due to a prank are funny.
