Or well, throughput wise i think it’s pretty good, but thematically it’s really lacking, especially compared to specs like Frost DK, Affliction or Enhancement where the focus is on empowering one ability and the gameplay surrounding it, without forcing you to pick all 4 nodes since they don’t overperform compared to the rest of the spec tree.
The biggest issue i have is with the two middle nodes (Your Nature and Bleed ability damage is increased by 10% / 20%). They’re simply bad design, as they are much stronger than almost any single node in the spec tree, which takes away a lot of build options since theese are a strictly better choice.
The first node, though, is actually pretty sweet. It gives a nice flow and feel to the energy pooling gameplay Blizz is trying to push on Assa. It just feels like it would fit much better in the tree as a staple of Assassination gameplay.
The last node is the one i feel like fits the most as an Apex talent. It really adds some depth and self feeding synergy to Kingsbane.
If you were to replace the first three nodes with something that fits more thematically with the Kingsbane/Weapon poison theme, you could go with something like this:
