Hey all was curious about rolling into balance for M+ but reading about the phases between eclipses actually made the spec sound really confusing.
Is it hard to grasp/learn ?
Are there any add ons to help track?
It’s very basic 
Not really complicated. Starsurge single target, Starfall AoE, and hit wrath/starfire depending on what’s lit up. A bit more to do then that, but it’s very easy to grasp

It’s really not the best or not the most fun m+ spec. It works super well in coordinated group making big pulls, but low level key pugs won’t be enjoyable - before you start your dmg, packs is already at 20%hp from melee cleaves.
A lot of people will say boomy is braindead, but there is a lot of things going on and you have one of the best utility in the game.
If you go boomy way, some tips:
- hardest part (and most unfun part) if you end up in the wrong eclipses - you really want to be in lunar eclipse at the start of the pulls. Feels bad othervise.
- play NF, venthyr is for super high keys for coordinated groups.
- since you are a hybrid class, have healing addon installed and drop couple heals when group is in trouble. Especially if you have no CDs up, couple 10k heals on low hp target has more worth than 2 wrath casts. During S1 with HOTW+resto affinity I could even heal Prideful mob in +15. Don’t underestimate this.
- trents are one of the best mythic+ spells.
- don’t forget innervates on healer
- learn to use beam on multiple targets.
Have fun figuring boomy out, it’s much more than 2 eclipses and 2 spenders

The basics and fundamentals are extremely easy, but once you get a hang of the basics and have some spare time with a cup of coffee try checking out her videos.
