Seriously now, after years of playing this game it still shocks me that you are actually allowed to use third party programs in pvp. ( At least russians seem to do it just fine without getting banned) Every single time you get them on the opposing team it’s so obvious that it’s beyond my comprehension how people still act like this is normal. Autokicks before you see your own castbar , and a general inhuman reaction to every ability in the game. Aah yeah , then come the chads saying : ah git gud kid , they are just pro. Yeah , the way they are playing in skirmishes and bgs with this ‘‘pro’’ level they should win every arena championship with a hand tied behind their back. You want proof ? type on youtube Necroboi - he has an example of a guy having this autocast program.
and also, I hear someone else say: ‘‘uuh pvp bots don’t exist, they are impossible to make and script’’
look for ''aimsharp ‘’ wow bot - it’s not even on a obscure form or something sits proud awaiting purchase. Blizz seems fine with this from what I can see.
I’m not going to run around and say that ‘‘all russians are hackers’’ but seriously , if you have a gram of common sense and see how most of them play in battlegrounds , you wonder how come they aren’t banned. Not even world arena championship players have that level of superman reactions
Pretty average tbh.
Haven’t met a russian cheater for a long time. I am not saying they don’t exist, just haven’t met one in a long time, but yesterday I faced a player who seemed suspicious. A Mistweaver monk was flagrunning at very high speed. The monk class is mobile with things like chi torpedo and tigers lust, but his speed was superhuman. He ran across the map with what seemed like permanent 100%+ speed and I didn’t see any buffs on him. He ran like this for almost the entire time, upwards of 30 seconds. I inspected his gear after the round and it seems he doesn’t stack speed.
I didn’t record the round, only the final scoreboard and some screenshots during the round. We even managed to win due to good objective gameplay by our team. Still I would like to know if anyone can explain to me how this is possible. I don’t want to accuse him of cheating outright, but he seems suspicious. Here’s the screenshot:
Yeh you played well, it was a close enough game that we didn’t feel too pwned. Would have liked a few more rounds against you guys.
(though I logged after that game when one of your Rets 100-0 me with 2hits in a stun, that just killed my motivation to play anymore).
As for the ‘suspicious speed’ -I can assure you it was legit, but I’m reluctant to give away tips, lest you just win a lot quicker next time
I would really like to believe you, but if that isn’t cheating, it smells like some sort of bug abuse at least. You ran faster than Sonic the Hedgehog and Usain Bolt combined in this round. What is your secret? Running this fast with a flag seems anything but intended.
There is a high chance that person used a consumable that allows you to sprint at 150% speed, this is a fruit bought from the War Mode vendor at the gladiator spot, you pay it with blood rubies anf is only a stack of 5 charges.
I’ve tried it once and can confirm it worked but not 100% sure if it still apply today since is pretty OP.
We were facing russians the other day in eye of the storm. We rushed mid from the start and got stuck within 5 seconds in a tar trap on our side before even getting close to the middle “bridge”. Like on the crossroads before getting on the bridge. Someone know how a hunter can shoot a tar trap this far into the map from the start? No way a consumable could’ve made him run so fast to put down a trap there. Also, the hunter (the only hunter) in question was all the way in the back on the enemy side.
Mmm see this for me is a grey area in wow PvP. Same with boosters in shuffle, Do i suspect them being a real thing ? Oh absolutely, But without any significant evidance to prove it there isnt really much anyone can do
Gliding alone gets you pretty much to the mid. Throw in a speed buff & you could make it to the crossroads before any land-waddlers.
Doesn’t seem like too big a stretch for a Hunter to pop stealth / throw traps & make it back to his team before anyone knows what’s going on.
So he goes glider, stealth, speed boost runs past the flag, launches a trap at our side, runs all the way back behind his group in mere 5 seconds?
Tell me what gives him this insane speed, I gotta get that too!
I think it’s the most likely scenario.
I remain sceptical this all happened within 5 seconds.
I suppose if he was really going for broke, he could jump + disengage (for extra height), Potion of Gusts (for extra push), Glider into Speed boost… -but still woudn’t account for this alledged ‘snared within 5sec’ claim.
I’ve told you the quickest way(s) I can think of getting to the crossroads from BG start.
If you don’t believe me, that’s ok.
Maybe the sneaky Russians did infact hack Blizz &or exploit bugs -for an unfair advantage in an unrated EotS.
Or maybe he used some other cool tricks/toys I’ve never heard of.
But (call me a stickler for evidence) I think it’s more likely he’s done what some of us have already been doing for years.
That´s not how I do this move. Can try next time, I think it´s possible.
I glide down, land a few yards from flag, aspect of cheetah , throw trap…
That nails horde before they reach “the bridge”…
Disengage and I´m back in mid.
Usually I do forward-disengage to stop horde with trap asap. But when I use disengage to simply go back to my team, I end up at flag somewhere between my allies.
Maybe someone cheated to do that, but its possible with glider and toolkit.
It´s a good opener on this map.
I’ve tried it, it does work. With Flags and also the AA in Ashran.
Still doesn’t explain the whole picture. Voi ran as fast for way longer.
Any similar effects that are also allowed?
