With the recent Retribution paladin buff it leaves me wondering if BM hunters is also in a position of a buff in the near future of wrath. The only thing a BM hunter currently has going for them is the raid buff Ferocious inspiration which is currently brought by arcane mages and as wrath progresses there will be loads of retribution paladins leaving BM hunters completely overshadowed throughout the whole expansion.
You will prefer a Ret for sure because of the same or better dps + many buffs + CD def + Aura etc.
So yes, BM hunter is D tier dps and provide nothing more.
No, BM isn’t in a position for a buff. Neither is Arms Warrior, Fury Warrior, Frost Mage, Sub Rogue, Elemental Shaman or even DPS Holy Priest.
And no, Ret wasn’t in a position for a buff either. The fact that Blizzard gave in to whiners was frankly disgusting.

What about Affli Warlocks? They could surely use some buff to not get surpassed by Fire Mages which is going to happen soon.
As is the norm with most forum posters they think purely in terms of ‘raiding, raiding, more raiding and nothing but raiding’
But in fact the big thing BM Hunters have going for them is they are one of the best soloing classes in the game. Only Demonology Warlocks can match them. BM Hunters laugh at the very notion of ‘group quests’.
Affli is ultra strong from the start until the end of the game and also got the demono strong until the end, and as a bonus, destru is good until Ulduar/ToC.
There is no comparaison.
Isn’t affli lock broken in lvling ? 
Btw, nerf the lvling in BM and buff him for raid.

It is after all a very large portion of this game, raiding is how you gear up and get prepared for the next raid so of course it’ll be a main point for many people as it can be concerning to some when a class spec is completely neglected by the vast because of performance issues. I’d argue it’s a bad game design and can easily be fixed.
Yes Arms, sub, frost suffer from this as well but make up for it by being very dominant in PvP and is generally accepted by many for that reason. All pet classes has advantages in group quests but the hard group quests are so far and between now that it really does not make much of a difference. DK, Ret&prot pala, prot warrior can also make short work of group quests.
The buff which Retri recieved was a great thing and i’d love to see some more specs recieve some love, don’t need to become the next S-tier damage dealer but absolutely be a viable option should be a minimum
