Apologies if this is a dumb question, but since TWW pre-release has spell casting become a lot slower? Or is it somehow that things like haste are reset to the new expansion so I need to build it up to the new definition of high? I can’t measure it but something in my brain is telling me everything feels slower suddenly.
Yes, it is like that for every new expansion. Your haste and all the other secondary stats “drop” because ones you are max level and have all the BiS gear your stats will increase obv. So if it didn’t drop you would get way too much haste when you get better gear. So yea obv it will be slower in the beginning.

What casting, mages dont cast anymore its all 1 button procs
Would be more amusing if melee also swung slower and were thinking, why is this taking 20 years to do anything.
Indeed, melee DPS don’t have much waiting time.
For me this is unbalanced, due the dynamics of current fights with tons of things happening and the casters needing to move
