The class is weak af, I mean less cc, survival capacity, dmg then the other classes, no spread dmg so what is our roll in 3v3 or even 2v2? Asking the pro’s, would you take Demon hunter instead of any other class to arenas? to play with you guys?
I hope, but I don’t think it will be anytime soon, i lost hope in the balance team long ago, if they wanted they could have done so, they simply won’t, get the past xpack as an example and you will see it. This time it is decided that some classes gonna be retarded while some undertuned or not functional, like always

He is right we would need something new to fill the holes in DHs kit first.
After that take a look at balance
Major class redesigns do not happen after release, so hoping for “fill the holes in DH kit” is in vain. Flat buff is the MAX whay would give, if anything.
I agree, there is no rework, no talent changes, no abilities gonna become baseline.

I would like to have venthyr ability “undispellable” and a nerf to hunt ? A buff to the class to compensate. So we can have at least 2 choices in covenants.

They did rework the aoe talent row for feral druid in 8.1.

DH is so squishy man
Probably not. Blizzard has made it clear that they are very happy with the state of current Demon Hunters. At best you may see some token balancing but I very much doubt that Demon Hunters will be even remotely fun for a good portion people to play for the upcoming several expansions.
I really like playing the class but the hunt seems to be a crutch. The sustained damage is really good and if you have meta up you get ok sustain but you have 2 defensive spells that don’t add up to 1 Rogue evasion, ironically rogue has better sustain than you with his garbage flask after your 4 minute cd runs out. The sight is the worst ability in the game and honestly does more harm than good while playing against rogues.
Havoc DH the only class that was pruned during “the great unpruning”.
hello balance team , im gonna tell u someting very intresting , im playing this game for nearly 15 years and NEVER been in a forum , its my first time !!! DH right now have less sustain damage then rogues / DKs / warrios / WW / hunters and … , and at the same time , it have less survive then ALL of this classes , and let me tell u someting intresting , it have ONE SPEC LESS !!! when u see that f chart , u see DH in middle ??? yea its cuz evry other class got ONE SPEC better then DH and we are better then other specs of that classes , we are nearly the WORST !!! can u understand it ??? now u give us 5% damage ? mrns ill quit this game and so MANY gonna do it becuse u dont give a F! no slow , no steady , completly healable damage , good burst ( hunt that rly needed that nerf ) , its very good u see the class atleast u nerf something overpower , but u dont see that CLASS IS FALLING !!! we have NOTING compare to ANYONE , atleast DH was very good in 2v2 dead bracket , right now look how many DH is playing in PVP , check out the ladder and tell me if 5% is enough !!! u make it 20% even noting gonna happen , still a rogue priest in 2s can outplay u so ez
if u get 2100 in 2s ur in EU top 50 … can u imagin that ??? and that few wintrader top ppl will not be an example for me belive it , any of u if spend less then half an hour on DH pvp will understand this class got MAJOR problems , u need to give us BACK survives + 30% less GCD , class is on a LAG !!! ur always starving GCD , dont u see it ?

I’ve been posting this in a few of the DH forum posts, so here you go:
My proposals for the class would be:
Nerf The Hunt crit multiplier by 20%.
That would make the average Hunt damage from 8k to a maximum of 15k on a crit against a target with no defensives up. Which would leave room for the below buffs.
Add Fire Damage to DH Mastery.
This would buff our baseline damage, in a controllable fashion.
Convert Fel Blade to Fire/Chaos Damage.
Currently Shadow Damage, which has no relevance to DH and is an obvious random damage type. No other damage from a DH is Shadow. As with the above it would also scale with Mastery.
Make DH untargetable during Netherwalk.
Thematically, this makes sense as it’s meant to be us slipping ‘into the Nether’… And being rooted/stunned during this time by a targetted CC is a bit wrong imo - AoE CC can still hit for balance purposes.
Darkness should be 50% baseline for the DH, and 20% for allies.
Still scaling to 70% for all allies and the DH via the PvP Talent.
Remove Desperate Instincts, put Blur to 25% baseline and add a new talent for that row.
Now that we have the Darkness Legendary, this talent is pretty irrelevant.
Demonic & First Blood baseline.
We all know this one. It’s an obvious and highly required change.
Chaos Theory should proc on Eye Beam.
100% proc chance, however put the time down to 4 seconds. This would allow us to actually plan our damage rotation ahead of time, instead of relying on a 30% proc chance.
Metamorphasis 3min CD.
I’m surprised I even have to put this one, when Avenging Wrath is a 2min CD and in my mind is more powerful that Metamorphasis - especially given that we have to pick Netherwalk instead of our Leech talent nowadays with such a bursty pvp meta.
I’m not suggesting they implement ALL of the above, even though the DH in me would love it. These are just a few of my suggestions!
