After killing the boss several times without any drop, I popped over to Wowhead to see if it was a slightly different droprate from the others and the comments seem to have a lot of other wondering the same.
Some have killed the boss over 20 times without a drop yet and at present Im hovering over ungoro with a whole bunch of people needing only that item.
Anyone know if this is maybe a bug or if this is just Blizz’ way of making ppl grind the event longer?
It’s the one I’ve had drop most, followed by earth. That said, they all seem to have a rather low drop rate to me.

Mine dropped the 3rd time.
It took me 7 runs to get all 4.
Odd. All the others have pretty much been 100% drop for me, but this one…
At least we only need them once. Thank goodness for BoA and the trinket being a heirloom. Just keep trying though I guess.

I got 5 Water before i managed to get a single Primeval Air.
Had no issue with any of them, some took one kill other 3 . But they are tradeable so its not like big issue, a lot of peoplr already got them
I killed him twice for it to drop. Earth was my slowest at 4 kills.
The last one I got was Fire, with Earth dropping on first kill and Water maybe 3rd.
I got it on my first kill of the water boss. You’re probably just unlucky.
RNG is RNG. Ive killed water 7 times and no luck. The others i got first try, is what it is.

Yes, always check raid chat before leaving the group. Several people have benefited from my double drops.
I have a few drop for me and I have traded it to players who were at the event. You do not need to be in a group to trade it but you do have to have participated in the kill. So just keep an eye out on the chat for any kind person who offers it up for trade.

My main got all 4 first time but its been much more random on my alts, so clearly just RNG.
I got all the parts in 1-2 drops.
When I got the last of the 4 I had several water and fire, and it was Earth that I had trouble getting. Mostly due to bad luck I think, I’d arrive just after the boss died and too near the end, or the Earth storm wasn’t up that day, and so on.
One of my guildmates was also missing an Earth. But judging from the replies above it does seem to be pretty random.
Well i was lucky with the drops and needed to kill the bosses once for the primals to drop
RNG I am afraid, I all 4 dropped for me on day two… six kills in total for the 4.
It didn’t need to be less than 100% really did it though, but Blizz gonna Blizz.
