Yeah we killed her in the Raid which made her happy because she whas not able to see her death through any of her visions except by the Legion. And so given that the adventurers proved to her there is also a possible unseen future where they defeat the Legion and so free Suramar.
I actually do wonder if they’ve got some ulterior plan with her.
Yes we did kill her during Legion, but they’re clearly setting up some timey whimey thing with her.
Personally I’d rather not, I don’t like recycled villains, nor do I trust Blizzard to successfully write a time travel related story (after the mess that was WoD)
During the fight she time slipped herself back at leats three times and the Eye of Aman’thul, the Relic of the Titan of Time was on 110%…
It wouldn’t be a stretch in the final second of her life she froze time to think it over and made a backup save of herself just it took some time to get in sync with herself (would explain the whole Bronze dragon’s had problem and the Timerunners - she was like tossing a rock in a calm pond and took some time the ripples to finnaly quiet down)
I know it is not that “canon” but even our Mage toons have Alter Time - allowing the caster to set a point in time and then return to it by altering the fabric of time
Sure death negates the effect and even distance but according to Khadgar, Elisande’s mastery of time magic rivaled that of the bronze dragonflight…
I can see it happen and she returns
Not as a villain but an ally and a humble advisor to the First Arcanist, proving she is over her Azshara-phase
Imagine a timeline with the original plan of making Jaina the Lich but this time Arthas decided to listen to Muradin and just lead his men home and then convinced his father of evacuating Lordaeron to Kalimdor instead of destroying it.
