I enter Molten Core and BWL and it boots me saying ’ You do not meet the requirements for this dungeon’. It was my understanding that with MoP you could enter raids without being in a raid group. My macro to invite and create a raid group is also completely broken so I don’t know what to do.

You can also create an empty custom lfg group and convert it to a raid, this makes you into a raid group without having to invite anyone.
