Characters level 51-59 can only access level 10 dungeons in LFD. It has been like this since the addition of those levels to Chromie time.
Also last time I checked, level 60s still triggered legacy loot in BFA dungeons.
Even if fixes for those are not instant, I’d expect them to happen much faster than that.
Does Blizzard simply have no idea how to fix this? Is the code really that messed up?
Well the code is definitely messed up. I am leveling my old BFA mage from 50 the last days. Have to go to SL by the game. No threads of fate available.
On 59 in SL i get spammed there are new adventures and have to come to orgrimmar. It kicks me out of chromie time but in orgri i am not allowed to go to DF. Apparently i need lvl 60. So i need to go back to BFA where i was in the first place before i had to go to SL by the game.
I get to 60 and go to DF. I just logged in on my now lvl 63 mage in valdrakken, and i get the freaking Thread of fate quest of SL. Which i declined, but it is not possible apparently to decline so now it sits in my questlog.
Like… wtf spaghetti code blizz?
This is by design. They don’t want you to level via Threads of Fate anymore, it’s there so you can access SL endgame content without doing the campaign once you hit 60.
I mean, i was basically forced to do the bastion campaign. Which i had done before on 2 other chars during SL already. Obviously i went some dungeons and i did not even see Elysion hold, that is how fast you level these days in SL. But i was very surprised. And even more surprised i get the SL Threads quest while i am already in DF on a higher level. That does not makes sense at all.
That explains why my monk and a dk in the party each had a pair of mail gloves drop from a boss in Tol Dagor
