So general loot level is based on your item level I assume. (Or maybe max ilvl combination of your equiped ones and equipable ones in your bag).
My question is are random lootbox item type also based on individual ilvl on each slot? So for example if the drop is 450 and I already have a 460 cheast and 440 head piece equiped the drop will more likely to be head?
I am asking this because:
If its completely random then you can grab your loot in any order you want it doesnt matter
If its not completely random then in order to (statisticaly) maximize your ilvl you need to get the fixed/known ones first and the random “loot box”-style ones after. This lowers the chance of getting gear with the same slot.
there is no loot prio.
I didn’t record it but I believe the rng azerite piece of the wq cache is always the same piece depending on the region. At least feels that way
max ilvl in bag defines the loot box ilvl but it also seems to be not consistent, because some get 445 with 438 and some still don’t get 445 azerite with 440
I think how it works is that you get atleast the ilvl stated on the loot box and beyond that there is a chance that the item will have a higher ilvl.
Can anyone confirm this? Because i have a 460 m+ loot box waiting for me but also a 445 pvp chest piece. I really dont want to avoid getting double chest.
Yes i can confirm that, i did get 475 belt while i had another 475 equiped, yet my trinket is only 455.
kinda lost here… Dont want avoid, gues thats typo and u actualy wanna avoid that, but still, u cant get azerite pieces (head shoulders chest) from m+ cache (weekly or end dung, doesnt matter).
So worst case scenario, u have 455 chest, you get another one from pvp cache, and some other TOTALY RANDOM item from m+
OMG thanks man, I didnt know. Now I can claim my prizes without fear haha.
I didnt mean It as a 100% gurantee. I thought maybe the buff the chances of getting a new gear for your weaker slots and nerf the chances for your stronger slots. Recently I run some dungeons and the only gear below 350 was a 290ish dagger. I got the dagger on my first or second run, which I thought was pretty lucky to be completely random.
