I’ve been playing prot warrior for a long time now but I don’t like their playstyle and they’re not fun for me to play so I want to play another tank.
I’m thinking about guardian druid cuz I like druids and they can play every spec in the game but I just wonder if it’s any good.
If there is better tanks and how much better they are or if guardian druid works right now in the state of bfa.

Guardian druid works for everything up to a 20 just like everything else but like everything else is also better than guardian druid.

But seriously, unless you’re trying out for the MDI or pushing Mythic Curve it’s fine

not that much better, the only tank that really really outclasses most others is prot warrior, but in the end it doesn’t really matter unless you push high end content.
The kit of the bdk is solid for m+ , dunno about raiding , I would suggest u play what style u like the most it all sum’s down to how good u actually are if u want to push m+ or do mythic raiding .
Can heal a guardian druid through a +11 and finish it.
Can’t time it, but then, I have yet to time a 10 this season, so that doesn’t really mean much.
Point is I didn’t blame the tank for being a druid when we failed the timer. They’re “good enough”.
Currently doing 25k+ DPS and compete with the DPS classes, and 20k HPS. Find me one other tank that can do that. Its pre nerf prot warrior numbers. Can easily maintain 2-3 IF for about 40,000 arnour, and go up to 60,000 lol. Again find me another tank with that kind of armour. Thats 70-90% physical reduction.
Dps, hps, and defensive there an absolute machine. It’s just utility they don’t have the best, it’s still decent though, and magic damage. A good team of stuns and interupts generally solves that. Don’t get the hate with guardians, even before 8.2 buffs they were good. For a 10-15 key my 1st choice would be guardian, and my mains a prot pally, and got a 435 prot war too. Gonna try brew out soon there taking over prot war as number 1 tank.
Guardian druid is pretty good tbf, prot warrior is still really good but they aren’t super S tier either opposed to last season.
Its not the same as season 2 with reaping where they dominated with clap. Guardian has the benefit of being tankier and warrior is still up there with their aoe and atk pwr nuff. Paladins are great to however if they use their toolkit they can be really great assets to the group. Blood DK’s and demon hunters also have their benefits.
Tl;dr unless you push for mdi, just play what you want.
Having tanked as guardian and as paladin, I much prefer guardian druid.
Having healed paladin tank and guardian druids, I much prefer guardian druids.
I’ve found them to be more useful in a group than a prot warrior. I am leveling one up myself currently and it is really fun even in the leveling department compared to a prot warrior.
I play both. I find both are fun in their own way. They have totally different mitigations and game style.
Both are GOOD. Guardians are good, try it and see for yourself.
During levelling I groan with displeasure if I see a Druid tank, nine times out of ten they have changed from feral to try it, at max level and with a bit of thought they are fine except at the very pinnacle of raiding where they can be a bit difficult. Still playable though.
I enjoy my dudu and warrior very much.
I’d say guardian druids are okay right now, easy tank to pick up, when played right i’ve seen people do amazing things with them.
Some druid tanks are managing keys fine though.
Oh I’m sure they are. I did say I wasn’t blaming the tank for our failure, I think our group was just barely on the edge of being able to clear a +10 at all 
Monk tanks are now competing on the same level as prot warriors.
On the leaderboards there is about an even number of monks to warriors with the odd paladin here and there.
Wouldn’t say they’re as faceroll in lower keys though.
Guardian druid like credit card - you keep swiping until you are out.
