Is Healbot broke atm?

I second the recommendation for Clique. It’s very flexible and works with any unit frames of your choice, and you can even bind macros that way too.

this sounds promising. i think i will look into this as i rely too much on healbot for priests and shamans (as i tank on any other hybrid class) and dont want to let the team down if its just meant to be an easy normal/holiday/tw run.

if that wont work i will try vuhdo as i tried it before but it seemed too messy at the start.

the general macro option from Aylish i will leave to 3rd as although i’ve had some success with it, im not sure how well it will be in the end when i need more than about 6 spells. wish i could play keybinds, it would improve my pvp no end, but maybe just playing this way since the start of TBC has had its toll.

thank you all anyways  and naughty healbot for starting to fail xD

I went from healbot to clique a while back, dont regret it and i have my spells bound to the same buttons as i had on healbot. And i find it easier to use.

Most addons also have their own support systems.

The addon Healbot Continued has this link for it’s support.

I mostly use blizzard default UI, with a personal weakaura setup for my cooldowns.

Blizzard Ui are pretty easy to setup and if you macro correctly it performs everything that any add on provides, just without errors and update issues. Never quite looked back since I started using it in Legion.

VuHDo, Clique etc. Often require you to go in and reconfigure it on boss by boss basis. Sometimes the addons tend to filter out undispellable debuffs etc. who indeed still are a matter of interest for any class who heals or can support the group.

When i Use blizzards UI it also automaticly basicly configure itself for any alt i want to play as long as I know which action bar slot uses what buttons etc. I always have interupts on “8” on my mouse so I just always place the interupt there etc.

I like Vuhdo and actually find it really useful for my dps alts too, just having the odd heal and my despel on left and right click helps so much if it needs a quit reaction.

It is mostly just a preference thing at this point, though the default UI while improved is still godawful just in terms of where it is, why would i want my raidframes in the wasteland on the left side of my screen and my spells at the bottom edge of it? Thats just asking to look at anything but what is going on in the fight…

You can place your raid frames wherever you please  Mine are just below my mid screen cooldown display and personal health and energy bars. Checking the “use raid frames while in party” basicly makes you have the same display outside of raids aswell. The UI scaling is also adjustable so you can make stuff really, smal, big, borderless, MT/OT, sorted by groups or roles etc. You can even check it for the inferior “just show dispellable debuffs” aswell. Then also add pets, resource bars, change display stuff like missing hp by % or numbers etc.

It’s acctually very flexible believe it or not. Tbh most add ons feel more annoying to use. Best thing about clique are that it will write your macros for you. Other then that Vudho basicly feels and looks the same(if you want to) as the basic UI. Just that addons are alot more messy to use for new players.

Your post make it sound like you haven’t even tried it lol.

The thing is I do NOT want it to look and feel like the default UI cause it is clunky as hell to me. I like to have my information all in view. And addons just do that for me 100 times more convinient than default because all it needs me to do is drag it where I want it to be and its done.

There is also the fact that I think the default UI is ugly as sin but that is more of a taste than practical thing.
I have sworn by the default ui for the longest time until I actualyl gave addons a proper shot, which made me realize how flawed it is.

Don’t know about vuhdo but you don’t have to reconfigure anything with clique. Clique just makes mouseover macros for you, it is easier and faster to create them that way than make them manually. And they are binded to mouse+something combinations OP is used to after using healbot.
Clique has nothing to do with debuffs etc you see on your frames.

Vuhdo doesn’t require you to reconfigure it on boss by boss basis
I am using Vuhdo for a long time now, I never reconfigured on boss by boss basis, the only boss which came close to that was Malkorok from SoO, because of the shields he does, but I just needed to adjust the debuffs and I was done with that, I could still use it the same way on any other boss,

you just have to configure it 1 time, and you can use it on all bosses

Personally I find clique the best mouseover addon there is. For greater heal just make a macro.
