last night I was raiding on HC altimor and the bosses auto attack shoot was damaging us for 71k damage, one shotting literally every single player, the boss wasnt enraged, the shades hadnt come into contact with the boss but it just feels wrong that the boss can damage players for twice their max health, there is literally no way to avoid it even with shields and healthstones/potions
Can’t say I’ve seen that happen in my HC Altimor fights, it was all rather normal. Any other weirdness you’d notice?
cant say that i noticed anything else, but it was 1 shotting the tanks and making it impossible to get past, i can submit a screenshot to imgur and link it here so you can see the damage it does

Probably would be more useful to post a link to the logs if you want some actual speculation. Images give very little information regarding the situation.

Looking at logs https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/jWLPqyfgFMN2w3x7#fight=9&type=auras&hostility=1&ability=334884 the boss eats a soul at the 2 minute mark doing 200% increased dmg, just before he one shots the monk tank. I am assuming there is your answer.
