I see no mention from Blizzard regarding the limited time event and when is Horrific Visions planned to end? I know we are heading into Season 3 early next month but this month has so much to do! with the Collector’s Bounty I’m not sure where to snatch time for Horrific Visions just yet and seeing there is 12 mounts available I would really like to take part of it.
Is there any indication that it will end with Season 2 or will we be able to complete Horrific Visions in Season 3?
Just the head enchant is disabled, you’ll be able to make the place even easier with 11.2 gear to get your 8 mask solo runs 
Revisited Horiffic Visions have separate achievement category under Expansion Features and all the achievements award points, this is a sign they are most likely permanent.
What is going away is the head enchant for S3 and the FoS achievs for 5 and 8 masks solo will probably go away too. The question is whether they go now or with Midnight prepatch. Some clarification from Blizzard would be nice, just to know we should push for 5+8 masks solo now or if we have time until the end of TWW.

Like having extra 30-50 ilvl kinda kills the whole point of challenge there
Yeah I agree that removing both FoSs makes more sense with the end of S2, but some clarification by Blizzard made in advance would not hurt.
My sense blizz would update horrific vision. Make more " harder" and new gear-up for ilevels in Season 3.
But if not. It’s fine.
I still dont farm for void dragon.
They might as well leave it be as it is and remove the FoSes with the Midnight prepatch. This way they would nerf the content indirectly, which they do pretty often, and still impose some deadline on us.
Why would they remove it? The WoD version is still there.
