Is it against rules if someone else log in with my account to purchase stuff?

Is it okay if i share my account info with a Trusted friend to purchase me a few things from shop?

Sharing account info is no-no. It is quite risky. Same obviously applies to any payment info.

Probably best/easiest to gift the item directly or gift battle.net balance if the item is not purchasable as a gift.

I dont have any worries about the Security of my account, consider it a family member thingy.
The question is that is there a chance of getting Banned because of this somehow?

The Gift option has a problem.
it requires you to be friends with the account for 3 days, and my Gametime is Ending in 21 hours.

if blizzard find out u will be banned for this. cant they just use the gift function to give u the item that way?..

Although i’ve heard several share this and get away with it, sheerly by never admitting it so werent reported… but i wouldnt recommend it

Gift option requires the two accounts to be friends for 3 days and my Subscribe is ending in 21 hours.

oooh wasnt aware of that.

Yes, you could be banned because account sharing is not allowed.

Gametime least used to be purchasable without having to be battle.net friends for X days. You could enter your own e-mail and get code there and give it away by whatever way you prefer. Codes were visible in the purchase history too. I assume it still works same way though I am not sure as it has been years since I last purchased them (still got some left, heh).

edit: Game Time gifting still asks just for e-mail so should work just fine that way.

Alternatively while both you and your friend are present you can log to the account while your friend inputs their payment information for the purchase (make sure to buy gametime rather than subscription).

Well i dont know where’s the option for buying it as a code, where should it be?

and about the second option, my friend lives far away. so can’t just invite him over and ask him to enter his bank account info.

You can use the Gift option to purchase the game time like I said. Code should be e-mailed to the address you give.

There is no option as “Gift”, there’s only “Buy now” option.
Guess the options are different for each country.

Are you sure you are purchasing game time and not subscription? The link ink the previous post goes to the game time page. Or least should go.

Yes im sure.
Im going to Game time page, it has some restrictions for Britain it seems.
It wont even allow you to chose a 30, 90 or 180 days time. only 60.

There are no trusted friends.

Well, the last safe options I can suggest is to either give enough gold for a token or by using Paypal or other money transfer service.

LOL.
Looks like some friend has betrayed your trust in the past

Dont worry ,you will have your time too

Lack 100K gold for that,
and didn’t get your second option. The whole point of this topic is a question about the possibility of having someone else buying you stuff,
If i was gonna get the money and pay it myself then the topic’s main question is cancelled, not solved

I meant that your friend can give gold or use Paypal/etc to transfer the funds for the gametime.

Well, someone who had 1K$ of yours and didn’t betray it won’t steal your WOW account.

maybe just waiting for the 10k instead
