I did exactly as you suggested and checked the tooltip in game while on my main spec.
It says: ‘The Soul Fragment will be consumed when you approach it, healing you for 5.795 health.’
You are still missing the point that I don’t have a horse in this race, so my thoughts on the state of havoc are not, as you put it, a sensitive reaction to a perceived ‘personal attack on your illidan-waifu’. I’m looking at the state of havoc through the eyes of someone who only plays it if someone else in my group wants to tank.

Not defending just saying,that multi shot does 600 dmg per hit,on mobs or players who have more than 35 k hp.
Multi shot was weak comparsion,since it aint doing that much at all.Only useful situation would be epic bg’s.

I don’t know exactly how it works for BM hunters because I’ve only tried it briefly before I found I like MM better, but the damage from multi shot itself is weak. But it’s a means to an end. For MM, it makes aimed shot and rapid fire, both of which do significant damage (aimed shot is MM’s biggest damage ability), hit multiple targets. I believe it has a similar effect on pet damage for BM, where pets are the main source of damage.
If you look at actual stats, havoc DH and all hunters are performing pretty badly in Nathria at the moment. (Havoc is 18 of 24 dps specs, and the hunter specs are at 17, 20 and 22.) I agree this is bad for hunters because most pure dps classes have at least one spec that’s performing well.
In mythic plus, it’s a different story, with havoc at 12 of 24, solidly middle of the pack, and hunters at 6 (MM), 17 and 19.
Looking at these figures reveals how absurd it is for anyone to complain that havoc DH is OP.

Players like you spreading abosloute nonsense about DH’s are the reason why DH havoc is totally broken in Shadowlands for PvP. DH Havoc damage is middle of the pack with great healing killing mobs in PVE and zero healing fighting players in PvP.
And I have to say monk have the same mobility as dh and better heal and defense

I can relate to that. I always played Prot pally and hunter. I created a DH just to try and never clicked. Managed to level it up to 120 during Alterac Valley event in BFA and it collected dust since then.
Two weeks ago, on a tyrannical bolstering and necrotic I decided to take a small holiday 
and give VDH a try.
Watched some youtube guides, icy-veins, wow head… and doing levelling dungeons up to 60. Something clicked! I started to love this fast paced demon frog and I’m thinking of maining it for 9.1 
Even tho I main Havoc I love to switch to veng to tank some lower key dungeons. Jumping like a frog is realy funny I love it!

I think they’ll buff DH with this remastered Burning Crusade expansion.
Bm is the EASIEST SPECC OF ALL TIME IN WOW HISTORY and you dont need to do something for the dmg ow ye click beastial wrath and let your pets do the dirty work.
