Is it just me or is this game basically melee favoured by 1000000000%?

Depends on the comp and how well you can shut down one of 'em.

In the past you could make them run away with good pressure /cc /positioning etc


But rn let’s be honest, all melee except ret got multiple gap closer, sprint and some kind of freedom and spammable slow.

In top of that way too much self healing and for most of them doesn’t even require to use a gcd (I can only think about rogue rn that have to use a gcd for vial /feint) everything is passive.

Sure in the end melee should have some more mobility cause they can’t do dmg at range (except ret/enhance/dk) but there should be some kind of nerf between the dmg they pump 24/7 or ms/self-healing.

Not agreeing with the rogue but saying that someone is HONEST in their opinion ONLY when they agree with you is kinda toxic in itself.

At the moment we are in a melee heavy meta and I think it’s bad how much uptime melee’s can have but at the same time it would be boring if melee’s would have 0 uptime and just get blasted from range.

Imo they should nerf range damage and nerf melee mobility so that if you “outplay” a warrior he shouldn’t just be able to reach you in 0.1 seconds again.

I agree completely, the damage design in DF is totally messed up. People are dying too fast. But that’s not reason to flare up the “melee vs. ranged”-debate again, which has been going on since Vanilla.
The damage design is hurting healers more than anyone, which I seriously despise.

Just for the record im not here to complain about whos more zugzug wizards or melees, i just wanna point out the fact that it has gotten to a point where is just not fun as caster even if you win, to enter arena and after 1 min of getting tunneled with a trilion interupts stuns mini stuns and all the micro BS that melee has atm. i can finally cast for 10 secs. and after they repeat the process for another 1 min.

I was saying toxic not due to the disagreement bro but due to the way it was put accross. No argument to the case just blatent dismissal. I would happily have less damage to have the melee have less mobility to stick to you like guerilla glue. That being said i stand my my point of the other rogue being toxic ignorance and calling me out for having an issue with the current melee superglue.
