Is it legal to AFK in arena?

I’m going to do 10 match per week, AFK in the base waiting for opponent to kill me. This way I can get my arena points without playing the game, because Blizzard don’t want me to play with PvP gear since they don’t solve the BG issue.

Since I can’t play the game because Blizzard don’t want me to play, the best thing to do I guess is just to AFK and skip this content. Anyway half of my friend list already quitted because they have to watch an entiere Netflix serie before joining a random Battleground. Even Retail Battleground are healthier …

Is it legal ? Can I get ban for AFK in arena ?

reporting system is automated. If nobody reports you then nothing will happen.
Since you need to buy a team and have a teammate, you could just let this person know your plans.
Anyway, the team starts at 0 rating and if you loose 10 games you will get 0 arena points :smiley: So your idea seems rather pointless.

No. There is a minimum amount of points handed out regardless if you’re 1 rating or 1300 rating. It’s like 240 arena points

No it doesn’t in TBCC.
They’ve said this.
It isn’t like it was back then, they don’t want people who drop to 1,3k and 1,4k to disband and remake arena teams every week.

I mean you can do it without ban as long it’s not win trading i.e organisation to boost players to gladiator but losing on purpose continually will give you a low rating and abysmal points per week

Constantly dropping teams, boosting people and more. They made it so you can’t do that anymore without a drawback.

If you never win you will have 0 rating and get 0 points. They changed the rating you start at in TBCC

If you are going to AFK in arena you don’t deserve the gear from it.
