Korthia was a perfect area without flying tbh. It’s so small you can reach every spot easy. Not to mention we got fast traveling spectral bear…

Without the huge time gating, which was only so extreme because of how behind schedule they are, it would have been even better.

Surely a Korthia without flying made it possible for the devs to implement puzzling areas to reach which favours certain classes and /or usage of legacy consumables. However, the no-fly restriction ruins Korthia/Maw for everyone trying to grind anything on alts or late mains, making it an unnecessary hassle.

Flying should have been implemented accountwide by completing the last Korthia campaign chapter. That would have made Korthia more evenly explorable and far more practical. The research is still a grind.

zones need to be designed with flying in mind in the first place to be able to fly there.
designing them to be ground only saves so many resources and time as devs can “cheat” their way around.

Don’t need flying in Korthia tbh. Korthia is fine without it.

Korthia is a small crappy zone like the worst addition to the zones itself just purely just for farming and nothing else really. But because it’s that small the flying in there is really not necessary.

Let me correct you. “the no-fly restrictions ruins the game for those caring about flying and not wanting to play the game the same all the time”.

If Blizzard would remove flying altogether from one day to another, I couldn’t care less.

Of course, convenience and the option to explore the zones from different perspectives is far more important to some of us than it is for you.

Now what if Blizzard slowed down the ground mount speed by 50% and removed the run walking speed altogether overnight, would that also be fine? Of course it would, because speed = convenience and options.

Wrong, but I get your mindset.

Flying was meant as an extension of existing mount riding. It was never meant to be default movement.

It is solely an Upgrade of Movement for each DLC and Zone individually and treated as such. The only bad thing about is how Blizzard treats the upgrade. If they would consistently make it a grindable unlock for every Zone after you complete the story which isn’t timegated, players would be ok with it. Both pro and contra-flying.

But the problem is that Blizzard does it so inconsistently. One base expansion part you can grind for it, the other Zone gets it with a story upgrade. The next Zone (for example Korthia) was never designed with flying in mind, so they won’t enable it.

That is the Problem. The Gap between Consistency and Player Expectations.

Why so insulting and disrespectful?

Because apparently people these days don’t know to have a conversation online without insulting others when other opinions differs from their own…

Takes less than 5 minutes to go from one end to the other, it doesn’t need flying at all.

Would speed up the alt grind so why not have it doesn’t hurt anyone but helps people with alts.

Not really I have 5 (almost 8) fully Korthia geared alts and I’ve never once thought “oh I wish I had flying”

Some have many more and every little helps for repetitive content

Well the area will never have flying so people will have to accept that. I for one thing flying isn’t needed everywhere and certainly not in a tiny zone like Korthia. I also doubt how much time it would really save, travel time is so minimal there anyway.

I can’t remember the amount of times I’ve missed rares and chests/treasures right before i arrived.

Blizzard shills are delusional.

I can’t remember how many times I missed a Sha of Anger kill in a flying zone.

You would still miss kills with flying because everyone else would get there quicker as well, infact I wager you’d miss even more.

Blizzard haters are delusional.
