Is it possible to play World of Warcraft on Windows 11?

Hello! I’ve installed Windows 11 today and an error appeared. When I try to log into my character it says that there is high memory usage and the game freezes. I’ve read that Windows 11 has a memory leak bug and I search, search and search, but I can’t find a solution. Rolling back to Windows 10 is impossible since I deleted all “unnecessary” files to improve my computer performance. What should I do now to play the game again ? I forgot to mention that I already tried all the steps you recommend in your articles and all of the information that I’ve found on the internet.

What’s your system memory usage before and during game launch? Also did you upgraded or made a fresh install from scratch?

In use are 4,3 GB and 2,9 GB available. After the game launch it drops down to 1 GB and collapse. I upgrade it from windows 10 and also did the same with graphic drivers.

It could a rare case in which it runs out of RAM. WoW + Windows 10 in some areas (and no other apps) can exceed 8GB already.

in short yes its fine. must be an issue conflict somewhere.

same here been running windows 11 for over a month now and had no issues with ram but then again im also running 32 GBs of it so i guess that kinda fixes the issue on its own as im never going to run out i guess but atleast i havent noticed that it pulls more then it needs to its just a windows thing as of late anyway :P, been trying out gaming on linux and been running classic on it and it pulls not even a 1/3 of the ram windows 11 or 10 even did but have other issues with gaming compatibility with linux so not a go till that is fixed

im currently running WoW on Windows 11. so it works.
