Is it time to kill off Lady Moonberry?

All great stories must come to an end. But Lady Moonberrys’ greatness was over long before it even got started.

Maybe Blizz can start off the destruction of Ardenweald with the shocking death of one of it’s key characters? What an epic fairy tale (pun intended) that could become.

Which characters do you think could be killed off to progress story?

Genn Greymane. Replace him with the princess, make her a racial leader that works to restore Gilneas rather than just use its people as cannon fodder for a rabid bloodthirsty moron’s vendetta.

Tyrande and Jaina.

These two characters were just a mindless rollercoaster. Nobody knows exactly what’s their identity anymore.

No, I did not extract enough of https://www.wowhead.com/item=1645/moonberry-juice yet

I think the ones that really must be killed are: Anduin, Tyrande, Anduin, Malfurion, Anduin, Jaina, Anduin, Bolvar, Anduin, Sylvanas, Anduin, Baine, Anduin, Thrall at least.
Honestly, it is so boring seeing the same characters over and over, they must go.

I’d kill Baine. Never did anything exciting, he’s a disgrace and the tauren race deserves a strong leader.

Although I could see reason behind the death of any of those characters. The only one I would 100% disagree with here is Anduin.

I would argue that if there was 1 central character in the whole of the World of Warcraft story (not the all of the Warcraft games, just WoW itself) it would be Anduin, him growing up and becoming King. I would say that the Death of Anduin Wrynn would be the Death of World of Warcraft itself.

Having said that, he really does need to man up a little bit.

Oh.

Oh no.

I mean, I like that Anduin is the peacemaker where his father was the warrior… but either the writers need to get on and make peace (which probably involves x-faction player groups), or they need to decide there will never be peace and have Anduin getting tired of everyone’s crap and starting to fight back like he means it.

Anduin being all about peace in a world that is 99% bent on war is growing tiresome. Either he should change the world, or the world should change him.

Who though? There are barely any other developed Tauren characters.

And the thing is, Baine’s mindset isn’t exactly odd for the Tauren. He seeks peace above war. Most Tauren subscribe to that view. To implement a Tauren leader whom is quicker to anger and combat is to implement a leader who doesn’t actually represent the race at all. It’d be like having Goblins be represented by an individual whom has sworn off money and profit in order to engage in acts of charity.

I agree, we could see more dimension to Baine other than his “but wait” stance - as he is regularly used to represent that side of the Horde and not much else about him is developed. In this sense his issue is his portrayal is one-dimensional, but this could be resolved by developing him a bit further rather than replacing him with some unknown individual (or one whom doesn’t really represent the Tauren well).

I do think, however, that given he’s shown his colours in Adern, there should be some sort of narrative event where Huln somehow manages to reincarnate or whatnot, because Mayla is such a cardboard box compared to him despite the fact she;s been around in the game for longer technically speaking.

Huln is the exception to my above. If he came back, then yes, Baine could be killed off for Huln to lead all Tauren. I’d support that.

I’d vote for Magatha.

Magatha is reviled by most if not all of the other tribes and has frequently betrayed them to further her own ends. She is a perfect example of a Tauren whom doesn’t really represent the general themes of the race - and as such she’d be a bad racial leader.

You can’t have a race being described as generally peaceful and nature loving, with traditions of honour and respect being represented by an individual whom represents treachery and deceit as her principle markers. To me, it just doesn’t make sense.
For her to command a senior position, to insert friction? Sure. But as leader? No. To do that is just to turn Tauren into “big bullish Orcs” with their themes, when the whole point is they’re supposed to be different.

I don’t understand the fascination with having racial leaders being “garrosh-esque” in their temperament as a way to “make them interesting”. Contrast is interesting. Having every horde leader be a different shade of warmonger is boring.

Despite this I maintain Baine could be written better, but I disagree he needs to be replaced by a Tauren with a totally different approach to things. He just needs his other sides emphasising so we see there’s more to him than what we’re shown.

Sylvanas. E N O U G H of her.

Sylvanas, Tyrande, Jaina, Thrall, Banehoof tauren guy? and Anduin.

I’m tired of seeing them so often. Let the WoW universe move forward. It’s getting to the point I feel like i am playing a mascot based game genre like the Sonic or Mario games.

Maybe the person who really needs to die is the chosen one - aka us. I’m done with all that “savior of the universe, chosen one, maw Walker, etc.”

Bring back the nameless adventurer fodder who die randomly in dungeons and raids.

But surely that would mean we’re just watching a movie.

I guess it means we won’t be moaning about the gameplay anymore.

Oh people would still whine. They whine when they have to listen to NPCs talking for 20 seconds and then calls it roleplaying… which also means going to the cinema or even watching a stream is roleplaying I guess

Jaina. People have been clamouring for Horde and Alliance to come together. Well, that is not possible while the blood elf murderer is on the loose. Bring Jaina to justice and begin to heal the divide that separate the two factions :slightly_smiling_face:

Lady Cringeberry as you suggested, and the weird horse husbands. (wtf is this “lore” srsly?)

Any and all racial leaders and higher ranked officials that stand in the way of #CrossFactionPlay.

Leave Moonberry alone.
