Oh my answer is no. I don’t think it’s necessary.
I like having Class locked to particular races. It’s makes the choices more meaningful.
They have already said they are going to? Shamans require racial totems, Druids require racial forms, Paladins require racial mounts. I think this is why they are taking the longest. DH well I don’t see why not personally but they probably want some kinda story for that, I can understand Evoker but I think Dracthyr should get the first 6 on the list next expansion.
Seems daft to me that several classes can be anything and I’m restricted.
So I’d like to see more freedom of choice at this stage.
They have been relaxing it with Dragonflight and did pretty much all the classes that required only a flip of the switch. Now it will take some time do other classes.
Yes, we need night elf paladins (see legion) and shamans (this expansion), also draenei druids with Talbuk travel forms, and gnome paladins that will smite you with a hammer bigger than their body. And human druids like the one I’ve had parked in Gilneas but was ruined by the addition of Calm the Wolf because it now automatically turns them into a worgen after level 10 even if they never got bitten.

We are moving in that direction. I guess they can’t do it all in one go as there is some work to do the animations and possibly some transmogs stuff with tier sets.
And I would like them to do it with some lore in game explaining how Orcs can now be Demon Hunters. A quest line or similar.

I don’t really care one way or the other.
My favorite class is already well represented. 
Every time I play my holy paladin, I think “this is nice, but I’d play it so much more if it had a racial option that I actually like”…
So yes, please. All classes for all races.
Let’s not. Because they have been doing a crap job at giving certain class race combos a proper feel to them. I’ve been playing a kultiran balance druid, can’t stand that you get this cool wicker form, but nothing that feels you are really using it.
Give each new class/race combo some ways to personalize their visuals before we start relaxing stuff because what we have now is, often, superficial.

Sounds like Class Skins is what you’re after.
So a Kul Tiran Shaman would be a Tide Sage and Lava Burst would be Tsunami or something (same cast time, same damage etc.) just a different name and visual.
Some work but I think it would be a good way to add some unique stuff into the game.
Taliesin did a good video on this a few years ago.
Yeah, that’s what I’m on about. If they want to diversify the class roster they should consider adding some glyphs or something that change some of the spells. I am honestly not that crazy about hero specs in the next expansion for that reason.
