Is it true that the Warband bank is disabled because of MoP remix exploits?

If yes, this is really messed up, it never even remotely crossed my mind to try to transfer items from MoP remix to retail, to know that some players thought about and done it is appalling.

Some people don’t want a challenge of skill or fairness In any way, they want to steamroll other players and content with an unfair advantage.

(That’s why pay to win games are so popular)

And of course, it’s a massive oversight from devs if they haven’t thought this could happen.

Bottom line is: if that’s true these players should be identified and get a permanent ban, they have no place in this community.

Uuu… love me some sweet gossip !

What items exactly were they transferring ?

I have no idea, I just heard this online and in the forums.

That players transferred overpowered items from MoP remix to retail, so they had to disable everything and track the items down.

Second topic about this today. Where are these crazy theories coming from.

I didn’t even think the warbank made it into the game. I was under the impression it was disabled to be able to get the patch up for the NA region.

I haven’t seen the previous one, yes indeed it can be just a crazy theory.
But is it? Seems very plausible.

Plus… if it was that, would Blizzard admit to this massive oversight? Not likely.
So their version can be just “Titans point of view”

The other thread speculated about Bronze but the currency transfer is already up and running so that seemed doubtful.

I don’t think the warbanks were ever up and running but I don’t play on NA so can’t say for certain. However the news of it being taken down was at the same time as their maintenance extensions. So I’m doubtful it made it into live.

Could it be they were able to transfer items with the new Meta, Tinker and Cogwheel slots and gain access to OP powers in the actual game?

I heard it was the cloak

It surely has to be something with the MOP Remix. Since it is not online on the beta, and everything is working fine at the beta.
But I guess they cant just disable MOP Remix. A shame though

I also think so

I doubt is that.
MOP Remix already have other trading features disabled like mails and guild bank so I don’t think they haven’t included the code in warband bank to be disabled for certain character, timerunners in this case.

And even if that were the case then we would had the bank available in one or two days. I don’t believe they need one week to disable the warband bank for timerunners. It must be something else.

Probably related with being a bank feature cross region that allow trade between all relms. In Beta and PTR there are only a few realms and most people have the few chars they copy in one single realM. It is not the best environment to test any cross-realm feature. This is nothing new, every cross-realm feature launches with issues.

Makes sense, it can very well be that :+1:t2:

My bet is that they forgot to make the whole AH region-wide so people could manipulate the server economy with the warband bank. My other theory is warband bank acting as a “limbo” as the void storage did back in the day.

I’m really hoping we will see this solved tomorrow after maintenance (alongside with a few of the more pressing bugs)

Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:t2:

I hear they were transferring Pandaren Plum Wine for that sweet buff.
