Is maneuverability broken?

One of the pvp-talents for rogues are Maneuverability which does the following:

Sprint removes all root effects and suppresses all movement-slowing effects for 4 sec when used.

My understanding of the tooltip was that for 4 seconds after using sprint I would not be able to be rooted or slowed. Although, if you start sprinting after a hunter has cast a binding shot nearby you will get rooted even if the maneuverability buff is up.

Is this intended?

You’re reading it wrong. Although the confusion is understandable.

What is says is that it removes roots, and after doing that it will suppress movement slowing effects for 4 seconds. What it suppresses is the likes of crippling poison and stuff. Not roots.

Yeah that is what I assumed it meant since that’s how it worked. Just feels annoying that you use it to get away from one root to get stuck in another.

Thanks for the answer though!
