I have a DK, Paladin, Mage and Monk at 80.
Levelling a Balance Druid feels like playing Elden Ring in comparison.
The survivability is absolutely atrocious and it’s a thoroughly miserable experience. I had to switch to Feral.
The damage is there for balance, it certainly seems to hit hard enough.
It just needs way more passive damage reduction and healing.
Leveling as Balance becomes a disaster after 75 but it was nowhere near as bad as the first month of Dragonflight when you couldn’t even kill 3 mobs at a time without help of trees. We’re once again following the pattern of buffing Starfall and Starsurge cumulatively, both by 100% before seeing Balance out of the dumpster.
This took close to 6 months last time. Time to reroll until spring.
when it comes to dmg for sure, but the survivability is a complete joke, especially the 200k regrowth heal
I wont die post like this … so I will post every few days this fu** article. Until some lazy devs respond and get to work over our class… works talent tree ever. Do something for god sake. Problem exists since Dragons its over 2 yers and all you do is shuffle some nodes.

The rework is out and does absolutely HEE HAW for defensives and heals on balance. This is ridiculous to the point where I genuinely believe that the best laziest resolve is giving us back Ysera’s gift if we take the first ability from the druid class tree
(the buff that
Heals you for 3% of your maximum health every 5 sec. If you are at full health, an injured party or raid member will be healed instead. which we used to take for resto affinity)
More efficent to talent into frenzied reg and use that to heal haha, healing-healing as balance is pathetic. But that is druid healing in general (except guardian self)
