Is night elf mandatory now ?

because no matter where I go, I can’t get out of combat without shadowmeld.

One way to make people buy race changes, I guess.

Mythic plus

Open world activity, rather

As a Lightforged Draenei and before that Draenei, i never had any need for Shadowmeld…

Yeah open world does feel like a nightmare, more so in zandalar then kul tiras. Shadowmeld does feel like a really worth while racial to have.

I have had to relog from time to time to drop combat. It’s no fun running across an entire zone without a mount. It’s usually some critter or mob bugged out under map. It’s annoying it wont drop it’s aggro/in combat when you’ve run far away.

Yes it is!

I don’t think so.

You could say “Are Rogues mandatory?” And yes they must be…especially in the Nightborne or Mag’har Orc form.
Also, I know that many Mythic+ people play Night Elves, because Shadowmeld helps get through the dungeon quicker - apparently.

They really need to fix how far mobs are following. Yesterday, I had 4 Dark Irons from the entrance to BRD follow me all the way up through Blackrock Mountain and out to Iron Summit (In Searing Gorge) where they killed me…

Revealing now how mob following and leash system really works. Expect me to disappear mystically after this because information i am revealing is very very confidential!

  • If you try to gather mobs to aoe them down, they follow you aproximately 25 yards and then run away.

  • If you try to run away from them, they follow you to the end of azeroth and back.

I hope this explains why those dwarves followed you so far. Or it might have been something you said.

Had the same Problem, had to Hearth

Alliance bias!

Other than that it really is annoying when some mob follows all over the darn zones.

We have a toy that can do what they do, in the open world

That’s actually a known bug and happens to a lot of players. Just reset client

Sometimes even Hearth does not help. Once I had to Heart + teleport to SW and wait few minutes to get out of combat

From the various comments to that item, one said…

You have to complete the quest chain offered by Rhan’ka, starting with ‘A strange Delivery’ and ending with ‘A Goldtusk Greeting’, before he will offer the toy for sale.

Note: Technically ‘A strange Delivery’ is not required. You can go straight to Rhan’ka and start with ‘Meet the Goldtusk Gang’.
Also, ‘Wanted: Cobra Excursion Participants’ is not required.

Did you get that far?
