Been trying to make a raid group in warmode. About 6 people join then we sit there for 30 mins with no one else signing up.
Warmode might be the problem. But aren’t these features cross realm? Why does warmode exist if so few people play it?
Is no one doing the world bosses? Is the game that dead?

I’d say it was mostly introduced to silence players who wanted to keep their PvP Servers when they removed them, but most ppl realized quickly that open world PvP is mostly max lvl chars ganking low level ones and with phasing and imbalanced servers it’s never “fair”, so why do this to oneself?
Simple solution, do them without Warmode and once done re-enable Warmode. They don’t drop more gold on Warmode anyway, and enabling WM back on is just one portal away.
The only reason to do the bosses are for the weekly quest (which only applies to half the bosses each week) gearing if you still need veteran gear and possibly for mog.
Couple it with WM being not so popular and it’s pretty much dead content there.
Blizzard got rid of PvP realms because they didn’t work. Most people flocked to PvP a realms where their faction dominated.
When Blizzard made all realms PvE they added an opt in PvP shard. To incentivise people they made a war mode buff. You’ll find most people in WAR mode are there for the buff not actual PvP.
Being ganked by rogues or mythic raiders is no one’s idea of fun.
These worldbosses reset daily, and have been available for almost a month, and will continue to be so for quite a while longer. There is only so many times you can kill the same boss before its no longer valuable to you. Im guessing you are having a hard time finding groups, because most people are done with the bosses. That, and warmode, as others pointed out.
I did them all once for the quest and achievement.
But then I’m not farming those tokens for the cosmetics. I am refusing to bow down to FOMO, with FOMO you aren’t playing the game, the game is playing you.
I’ll get a couple dozen of them an buy some toys or pets or something.
It’s really not ahrd once you get 100 toekns.
Anyways, I suspect Blizzard will reuse it in the following years. Question is what do they carry over from this year.
I hated it when i pressed tab to target the boss but instead it targetted someone pvp flagged. I dont like open world pvp. I am there to kill a boss and not get killed because i damaged a pvper. I also did the bosses daily for the mogs.
Warmode is good for 1 thing but i keep it secret xD
The fact that Blizzard has to offer extra gold and xp for turning on WM should be all the explanation you need.
But also, this has been going on for 3 (?) weeks now, and personally I don’t care for neither the ones in Tanaris nor The Originals. I did read the former had a chance to drop mounts, which made me care exactly as long as it took to log into my main
Day 1 no1 was doing the world bosses… but yeah I think Blizzard didn’t think this through rewards wise lol… I was running BRD for the vault as it was quick… this week? I’m doing 4th best DPS as a tank, in other raids top dps was 500k. I think ppl have got their stuff and went back to whatever they where doing.
I;v e been doing them every day and it’s been fine. I’ve had to make my own groups even at 1am. The only issue I’ve had has been kazzak at 1am.
I like this event bosses. Gearing a character is more easy now. Also it drops higher ilvl then LFR also its personal loot. And the very best thing is. You can do them daily. So no weekly reset timer.
I already was thinking what it should be after 8 january next year. LFR drops very less. Always lose on trinkets. Everyone needs on everything (but no proof if they need it or not) for healers like me nearly never drops and many items i have to pass or greed for mog because open world event boss dropped better.
Also delves are hard for me who hate challanges. Delves didnt reward enough because i had no keys for the end chest. I started getting keys from the anniversary. Also the vault is only 1 item a week.
And because the 20th anniversary event getting geared is easy. The weekly chests all drop a crate with gear and sometimes 2.
And yes if the event is over i maybe go back what i did. Old content
Did you not know doing the big 4 chests ( weekly, troupe, machine and the zone one) gives keys?
PvP should simply be removed.

I agree, this mode should be removed. Almost everyone plays this mode for PvE buff, which makes no sense.
I’d say, remove PvE buff first and then remove mode itself as it’ll become obvious that it’s obsolete.
500 honor quest atm = 7 marks best time to grind on alts hehe.
