Is not Blizzard fault is ours

I will be honest and who is saying something else is just lying himself.

it’s our fault and now the bill has come… and we have to PAY ! because we couldn’t solve our problems as a community, and i can give you some examples.

When Horde has a problem is fighting for her problems, BGs premade, que times etc, then the smarter Alliance player is coming and blames Horde for over population faction when we should have LITERALY BURNED this forum, Alliance and Horde… as one power… to burn this forum from the ground and spam it with the problem, there is no way that Blizzard wouldn’t care at all if there were at least 100 topics only about that… just an exemple.

We face the problem with dead servers and i feel so sorry for those who are traped on these realms.

People who are indifferent to a common problem are to blame, people who are staying in SHADOWS and watch how we argue one another, a broken and divided community will be far easier to control… and this is the truth.

When solidarity will be in this community the change will come, until then… we will argue over and over or we won’t do anything and just long every week for raids and stay passive about what is going around us.

People rarely care about the problems of others.

How do you literally burn the forums? Fire in a server farm is not a good idea. Don’t you just delete them.

I do think some TBCC realms should be connected, not all though.

They are not trapped, none of us was, they just dont want to take transfer out of principle.

“The guys who can modify the game and change the rules are not at fault, it’s the guys who play who are at fault”.

Keep licking, the boots aren’t shining yet.

You’re both right and wrong at the same time.

You’re wrong because it is in fact the players fault. Servers get abandoned en masse when the population drops to 3k; despite that being a perfectly healthy population, because of the “15k pop or else the server is dead” private server mentality.

But you’re also right that it’s Blizzard’s responsibility to at least ease the problem. There’s plenty of things that they could do to help players; free migrations from dead realms would work and merging dead realms would also work.

Instead Blizzard do nothing. They have more “important” things to deal with, such as removing references to famous people and changing paintings of women to fruit.

No, it’s not my fault. I did nothing wrong, I didn’t deserve my server to die. Yet, all the hard work put into my characters is effectively gone, stolen away from me and put behind a paywall.

A community is not a company. A community doesn’t make decisions. The company could prevent all that. But they chose not to. I blame them. It’s meaningless to blame “a community”. It’s like blaming a tornado.

faction balance doesn’t matter beyond aq. people who play on dead servers only have themselves to blame

Greetings from dead server!
This game got labeled as “Pay-to-win”… actually Pay-more-to-win (25e+monthly).
And i dont like games like that.

That timeframe is already too late, helping few players who are too stubborn to transfer and that would not be fair to players who did pay for transfer.
What they could do is keep promise and not having layers, making login queues as discouragment to transfer to megarealms.
Second, they could have disabled any transfers, keeping players hostage. Ofc, this would be tough one.

You probably did something “wrong”, like killing opposing faction too much or corpse camping which made them transfer for less pvp.

You’re going to have to go into more detail about how that isn’t fair.

People choosing to spend their money on transfers is EXACTLY why Blizzard aren’t doing anything. Why would Blizzard spend time and money fixing a problem when players are literally paying them to not fix it?

I don’t think people realize how easy it would be for Blizzard to solve this population crisis. When they do not do this simple thing, it is simply bad customer service or pure neglect driven by greed.

Paid server transfer exists from day 1, we were fully aware of its price when we made our characters and the posibility we might need it some day, right?
I did transfer for more grouping opportunities and paid for the transfer. So, now you want to transfer for the same reason, but for free, how is that fair to me who had to pay?

Watch that one brave fella making posts about bots, each day.
There are so many posts about bots, how are they destroying server economies.
Community are pulling as one against bots.
Blame Blizzard for not seeing the difference between players and bots.
Blame Blizzard for seeing only ony thing - paying customer.

True, there are lot of posts about bots. Thing is none of them explaining how are bots destroying server economies.

My bad, I stand corrected, not destroying economies, but How botting is against ToS and 3rd party programs.

The community as a hole has a part of responsability in what is going on in the game, that’s for sure.
Now, can the way that players play be influenced on by players themselves? Hardly. People will always take the path of least resistance and take decisions that may hinder the game on the long run, even if they are aware of it, and it’s pointless to try to change their behavior, because they will just do whatever benefits them to the extent of the rules. Hence why it’s up to the developers to change the rules.

A simple example : Blizzard adds a button in-game that allows you to get raid gear for free. That’s an extremely dumb idea that will probably kill the game on the spot, and absolutely everyone is aware of it. It’s also very easy to guess that absolutely everyone will click on that button regardless.

Really, there is no point in saying “it’s the community’s fault” because “the community” is made of individuals that will do whatever they want independently of each other (by that I mean that they don’t consult each other before acting).

Yeah, no, I didn’t. I did a very moderate amount of wPvP, and corpsecamped - like twice a year maybe, not really my cup of tea.

Also, both factions died.
