I’m not sure, but upon leveling in the area of Zuldazar I did see some Zandalari rogues in one of the villages (though they were one of the traitors we had to kill) so yeah I guess it makes sense. It’s not a popular choice for Zandalari, so you will be more unique.
Yes, in the port of Zandalar you see a lot of thieving and subterfuge and the official group of rogues/spies of the Zandalari are called the Shadrasi; originally commanded by Yazma until they were betrayed by her.
Zandalari troll rogue is a very nice match!
Custom-wise Id go for the dark skin and dark blue hair option, minus tattoos.
As pointed out before there are some Zandalari troll rogue-ish (more like agents/operative/assassin) models in game throughout the BFA campaign. These are very cool!
Don’t see why not. For normal trolls you have rogues and that fits in with “shadow hunters”. In Zandalar you will likely find the same and some form of operatives for the throne. Followers of Bwonsamdi and possibly Sha’dra fit for being a rogue perfectly imo.
There are only 2 races that can’t be rogues - communist dranei and hippy tauren, because of moral beliefs or hooves. Rest of the races condone assassination, espionage and thievery to a point or their feet don’t clack when they sneak.
It does! Rogues exist in all races (yes, even draenei and tauren despite not being playable), it just changes from race to race in the sense that, for example, night elf rogues could be like Wardens or Night-assassins; blood elf rogues could be like Farstriders who fight in close combat; human rogues could be pirates or assassins from the Si:7, etc!
Every race has their share of individuals to whom rules don’t apply…
Be it rules of combat (rogues don’t fight fair) or rules of law (thieves, assassins and such).
And if you don’t like the “criminal” aspect, then you could just be an agent fighting for whatever organization the Zandalari government have that employs spies and possibly assassins.
All governments have something like it.
