Is Rogue a fitting Class for Zandalari Troll Race from logic + lore perspective?

Unlocked Zandalari Troll race didn’t play yet.

Thinking pure DPS Class which I’m attracted to.

I was thinking Zandalari Troll Rogue.

But does it make sense from logic + lore perspective ?

Is it a fitting Class (Rogue) for Zandalari Troll Race ?

Please let me know.

I would much appreciate it.

I’m not sure, but upon leveling in the area of Zuldazar I did see some Zandalari rogues in one of the villages (though they were one of the traitors we had to kill) so yeah I guess it makes sense. It’s not a popular choice for Zandalari, so you will be more unique.

Edit: I remember, the village name is zeb’ahari.

Yes, in the port of Zandalar you see a lot of thieving and subterfuge and the official group of rogues/spies of the Zandalari are called the Shadrasi; originally commanded by Yazma until they were betrayed by her.

I think Zandalari look great as every class

You could role play as an assassin whose service are being requested by the crown.

Zandalari troll rogue is a very nice match!
Custom-wise Id go for the dark skin and dark blue hair option, minus tattoos.

As pointed out before there are some Zandalari troll rogue-ish (more like agents/operative/assassin) models in game throughout the BFA campaign. These are very cool!

Don’t see why not. For normal trolls you have rogues and that fits in with “shadow hunters”. In Zandalar you will likely find the same and some form of operatives for the throne. Followers of Bwonsamdi and possibly Sha’dra fit for being a rogue perfectly imo.

There are only 2 races that can’t be rogues - communist dranei and hippy tauren, because of moral beliefs or hooves. Rest of the races condone assassination, espionage and thievery to a point or their feet don’t clack when they sneak.

Makes total sense. Could even be a trash assassin with the trash raptor loa.

Ive seen good few zandalari rouges in the world. Especially the ones in atsl dazar that used to cause problems

It does! Rogues exist in all races (yes, even draenei and tauren despite not being playable), it just changes from race to race in the sense that, for example, night elf rogues could be like Wardens or Night-assassins; blood elf rogues could be like Farstriders who fight in close combat; human rogues could be pirates or assassins from the Si:7, etc!

Can’t you make your own mind up? Do you really need the approval of your peers?

If you want to do it then do it, don’t come here asking if you should.

How are they commies?

They deffinietly fit, they can work as war scouts, Assasins that work for crown and shadra followers, or as a pirates like those in Zem’lan.

You’re free to pick.

dottie coming to you - I’ll do whatever I feel like doing - don’t tell me what to do and mind with your own business. know your role. dismissed .

Many thanks to everyone for their feedback. I much appreciate it guys.

Thank you.

Actually Darkspear rogue doesn’t fit so well, pickpocketing animals on the prowl in the jungle? it doesn’t fit for me

Why not?

Every race has their share of individuals to whom rules don’t apply…
Be it rules of combat (rogues don’t fight fair) or rules of law (thieves, assassins and such).
And if you don’t like the “criminal” aspect, then you could just be an agent fighting for whatever organization the Zandalari government have that employs spies and possibly assassins.
All governments have something like it.
