are shamans good pvp wise
Resto and Ele are great.
Enhancement’s the worst spec at everything.
I actually read from a enhance main that with ideal corruption and gear they are fairly decent.
But I guess getting there means rolling the dice in your favor for like 10 weeks straight in raids, pvp and mythic +.

I mean unholy dks are pretty good with 4-5 gushings too.
Otherwise they’re crap
Everyone will be decent with that! Your class hardly matters if gushing can do 30-60% of your damage haha

I agree I’ve seen some in eu/us at around 2k5-2k7.
From what I’ve seen they played turbo or destro/enh and I’ve seen 1 or 2 playing assa/enh with all the time mw.
There’s this guy Veli who sits on 60% versa, he makes enh work. Makes sense considering the extra dmg reduction and healing.

Same with avines if I’m right he got 2proc versa he should be around 40-50% pretty much all the time.
I think Saucerboy got some pieces like that but I can’t check now he is in pve gear. But he plays mostly with destro everytime I see him on stream so maybe he is not focus.
Ran into one enh a while ago doing like 35k dps although he had like 3 GWs
Unfortunately for him his Destro partner didn’t have his luck and since the target shouldn’t be the Shaman, well, it is useless, and they die ! I guess they win games mostly because some other people think “OMG Enha is so bad just tunnel and win” when it’s clearly not the right thing to do. But hey attack the lock and it’s a free game. Tested and approved.
He usually searched for both destro and turbo. Idk why enh+destro is supposed to be anything special, it looks like a lesser destro+ret.
It is good because destro is good with close to anything, caster and melee alike. Think about it : sp, ele, mage (fire and frost), assa, uh, ww… I don’t think any spec has that many powerful comps available.
So, enhance has a spot. Also enhance is a bit weak on the defensive side but since you can’t let a destruction Warlock forecast the Shaman is usually not the target and enhance actually has very high damage if left unchecked.

Ima be completely bland. Enhance is garbage.
The argument that it gets good with high amount of vers % corruption or gushing is total bs. The only thing that is good about that is the surviveability or sustained dmg this provides, which it does for every other class aswell, so every class is gonna have that on top of actually being a good class with other benefitting tools, enhance just does not currently have.
Just think about it this way: sure, enhance with 60% vers has good surviveability and does a ton of a dmg, but who doesn’t.
Ele with 60% vers >>>>>> Enhance with 60% vers.
Also every comp you can play with enhance is just way way better with ele. Actually there’s only 2 good comps: destro+mw+enhance and turbo. But both these comps are way better with an ele, instead of the enhance, in the current state of the game.
The only ones playing enhance high rated are those die hard no matter what enhance players and all of them would be higher rated if they played ele on the same level they play enhance at, which most of them just do not because they’ve played enhance for forever.
In general Ele is a strong class and becomes insane (almost mage, rog tier) with a ton of Gushing or Vers-% corruption, Rshaman is kinda dog compared to Hpala, Mw and Priest, but you can still push the top of the ladder if you got the gear and you play it on lontar/drainer/domo/… you get the idea level and enhance is dog.

Curious, do you play ele or enh in arena?
Ele. I abandoned enhance after Blizz killed the spec with the PvP talent changes in 8.0.5.
