Heya, so im kind of a returning player and i havent leveled an alt in a while. I was wondering if spamming the current wrath timewalking is a good/worthwhile method of leveling? Or should stick to questing. Right now im lvl 86.
Best method by far,people can pass you 120 gear which you use once you ding
This is a huge help to leveling alts. Also TWs are generally faster and award more xp due to (generally) more mobs per instance. Also Queu into TW is faster since everyone is doing it compared to normal dungeons (especially BfA ones).

Depends, if you go people who never been here, then it could be a pain. If you go with lvl 120 with xp, then its smooth. Better prob than mop-cata dungeon spam.
After the hotfix which a few weeks ago made Timewalking dungeons much more difficult with more health and damage to players, it’ll take much more time to complete each dungeon.
But if you look at the completionist XP it’s still worth it. You will get about 400k per dungeon with a full heirloom set and rested XP.

Very fast method of leveling, especially if you’re tanking or healing.
Can be a pain in the a… now , pit of saron with people that doesnt know what too do isnt fun
Might just be me but yesterday I tried healing a TW dungeon (Pit of Saron) with this monk I’m levelling and after 3 or 4 deaths I bailed out in embarrassment as I could barely keep everyone alive and each pack was smashing the DH tank so hard I had to spam heal him and had barely enough time to heal anyone else, blowing through my mana almost every pull.
We killed the 1st boss but there was no way I could keep everyone up with my currently available spells so I probably did them a favour by leaving.
Wouldn’t recommend as a leveling healer at all, at least as a monk.
I don’t think it was your healing that was the issue. People must do tactics on that boss or they won’t get very far: Simply hide behind the Saronite boulder when boss throws it on a player and LoS the boss, this will make the debuff expire. But if you dps boss too fast he will not throw the boulder in that phase and you have to wait until the next throw.
People tend to treat TW like bog standard dungeons and as a result the tanks rush in and pull far too much. Resting in everyone turning on the poor healer for being unable to heal stupidity.
Tanks just pulling one set of mobs at a time can actually make it go quicker
They are at the end just bog standard dungeons. the trouble comes from the downscaling. Current Tanks are used to running anything up to and including M+3, M+4 without a needing a healer. Some tanks can even do higher M+ with only relying on selfheal. Then they get thrown into something where they are scaled down and they just pull like they are used to.
So they’re like bog standard dungeons, apart from not being like them.

no, it’s the players that change, not the dungeons. The actual dungeons are actually significantly toned down from what they used to be when they were current
