Why would it be? Why would you spend hundreds of euros of a mount that goes as fast as the one you can get for 60 ingame gold?

Not too mention the “Spectral” part made it unique AF back then.
Nowadays we got 7 spectral mounts easy to obtain and a spectral pet

That I should be running m+. Or that I’m salty that I still have only 1 set piece.
Why would I think anything about someone using a mount? I’ve seen it a million times and I will see it a million times more.

Dont know, couldnt really decide tbh.
The Spectral Tiger was the first and that made me wanna get one as a mount collector.
After adding in all other spectral mounts i just thought: that makes the spectral tiger way less interesting and id rather just not get it.
Tbh i wouldnt be able to say which looks the best since i just enjoy “unique” mounts (either a color way or model) and with so many spectral types its rarely “unique”

For ally , it is spectral gryphon, for horde it is spectral wolf. As you can notice, spec. tiger is very in the middle. I think it is more healty you have some other mounts before thinking spec tiger but it is still very important piece for serious collectors.

I have the Spectral Tiger and always found it to be a curse to own it.
For the simple reason that when you use it on your character, then you’re “spending” a lot of value. It’s simply worth a lot of money.
So when you have it you’re constantly aware of the fact that this mount has cost way more than any other mount you own (directly if you bought it or indirectly if you didn’t sell it).
And because of that you will feel obligated to only use the Spectral Tiger and no other mount. If you try to use another mount, then there’s a voice in your head that asks you why you’re not using your Spectral Tiger. If you don’t intend to use it, wouldn’t it have been better if you had sold it?
So that becomes an annoying thought of guilt nagging in your brain, and the result is that you can’t really use any other mount in the game, because you feel obligated to use the Spectral Tiger because you invested so much money into it (directly or indirectly).
So whilst it’s a very cool mount, then it also becomes the only mount you will ever use. So you miss out on some of the excitement for new mounts that other players have, because there’s that constant sense of obligation to use the Spectral Tiger.

People still buy the spectral tiger cub for obscene amounts, so the spectral part isn’t what they’re after, it’s the scarcity and it being unique. There’s a limited amount of them, and a great deal are on inactive accounts.
Right now the cub alone is about 3 wow tokens worth of gold on several servers. Mind boggling to me.

I’ve spend a couple hundred pound on a night out before and don’t remember it very well, but it was worth it lol.
There is another transparent tiger that you can get at a fraction of that cost btw, it can also fly

usually very 100% cocky ones. For e.g. riding zulian tiger or swift spectral tiger instead of using flying mount in flying zones.
I think blizzard will add it to BMAH in future.
Depends if you want it? If you have option and want it, get it.

That is to say, I think it’s worth it if you think it is.
The only bad thing about a spectral tiger as oppossed to a brand handbag is the fact that atleast the bag doesn’t dissapear when the servers suddenly shut down, but I think WoW will be with us for some time to come.
