Is succubus invisible to anyone?
Not once it starts attacking (+ taunting)
But if im not in a battle…can others see her…
Only your party/raid members could see her out of combat.
P.S. And maybe Illidan fan-boys/girls using spectral sight.

It’s just because succubus’ can turn invisible. There used to be a few useful tricks you could do with it back when the pet was more useful.
eg, leave it invisible but on “aggressive” near the flags in PvP, and it ambushes the first enemy to approach the flag. ( Didn’t do much, but was a welcome distraction when you’ve been abandoned by your team on AB and need to play for time)

I use succubus to prevent capturing flags in BGs, because she is in stealth, rogues can’t sap her and open on me freely.
And people don’t expect demonology warlock to use Succubus/Shivarra so they mindlesly open on you, only to find themself CCed by our lovely demon. This usualy cause some panic, and people use their gladiator medalions to break CC, leaving them in the open.

Succubus remains invisible until she engages in combat then re enters invisible when leaving combat, regardless of if you are.
Assuming pet is on passive she remains invisible while you are in combat, sadly not anywhere near as useful if your demonology since you can no longer have her passive without all your pets being so (which made her less viable as a pick for pvp which was the one area she shined for demo)
For destro she is still useful, and still good into rogues.
Can a rogue find her while she is stealthed? Sometimes she won’t cast Seduction on the rogue and smoke bomb was not used.
No. She is invisible not stealth much like mage invisibility. Aoe can still hit her however
Her seduce does have a cast time before channel so she can be kicked from casting both before and during (by another target )
Regarding smoke bomb, she can still use it in smoke but only if both herself and target also is inside since its only los
Most issues with seduce come from los or range issues and succubus has notoriously had bugs with her abilities since before legion which some never got fixed or find them self on other pets (felguard axe toss going on CD but him not using it springs to mind )
This is still a thing. So maybe it is a bug like the ace toss? Mh need to have a closer look.
I’m aware it’s an issue for felguard, however pre succubus change in design when her whip lash was a knock back it suffered an issue exactly like current felguard does with axe toss, if you commanded her to use it but she was unable to due to range (even if it showed in range) or her own los it would immediately go on CD but nothing used
This I believe is very akin to current felguard, however his worse as some of his animations prevent him using the skill (like his charge)
Maybe the Bug was improved from the Knock back to seduction

This is an issue of tickrate of the servers.
Tick rate is the frequency with which the server updates the game state. … When a server has a tick rate of 64, it means that it is capable of sending packets to clients at most 64 times per second. These packets contain updates to the game state, including things like player and object locations.
WoW tickrate is extremely low, and any NPC AI stuff is handled on the server side.
So if server has low tickrate and updates information regardless players not offten, AI sometimes can’t use their abilities, because servers didn’t updates information regardless players location, range to the player and ETC.
