as written above: Is the 500 mount achievement now warbound?

I’d assume it is as it was account bound anyway, but i doubt that changes the criteria which is to have 500 mounts usable by a single character.

btw what does “usable by a single character” exactly means? for example by a single faction? or classes and such?

It basically means that from all the mounts you have on account, a single character must be able to use 500 of them.

For example, you could have 520 mounts. 400 are alliance, 120 are horde so you would not get the acheivement becuase neither could use all 500. There are also class mounts which can only be used by certain classes so will only count on chars of that class.
