I’ve tried to look people up on the armory at various times over the past week, but every time I have received a “500: Internal Server Error”.
Does it work for everyone else??

It’s intermittent for me, some days it works, others it doesn’t.

It’s working now, I must have been very unlucky over the past week. Checked it ~5 times and each time I received an error!

It often seems to break when a new patch comes out. It comes back after a while.

Yeah it seems to be down more than up the last few weeks. I’ve had 404, 500 errors and just blank pages with just “Bad Gateway” messages.
Forums have not been much better for me either (probally becuase of the armory). Keeps saying i have no characters so i can’t see notifications, reply or post. If i log out to try refresh that also gives a bad gateway or 404.

My profile is private and should state this…
However I have noticed the blue and white box is back and error codes are common now…
I believe the team that maintained the Armoury page were all fired and they have some intern from another country (outsourced for $2 an hour), who is working on it!
You can make forum activity profiles private but not the armory pages so that has nothing to do with the errors.
P.S. Just so you know… your forum profile is not set to private (Assuming you mean on the character you posted on).
You got it the wrong way around…
Armoury = Private
Activity = Open
Well yes and no…
You cannot view someone armoury by clicked on there protrait but you can do amoury search…
Setting your forum profile (activity) to private hides your forum activity from others (your post history and such). The profile button (which actually leads to the armory page) is hidden but it doesn’t stop someone doing a search. Nothing on the armory is private.

I remember when me and my brother was fresh to WoW and he told me about my character being on armoury… I didn`t know that existed and I hated the idea that people could search for my character… Ive always liked being under the radar…
